Batiaus and Jordan were awesome! The place was clean because I saw Mike cleaning away. I ordered the ghost pepper, chicken, wings and mashed potatoes. OK, I was thinking to eat the biscuit, but it was delicious and her those pepper wings had a lot of breading not too much meat, but they were pretty good. I WOULD RECOMMEND Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Have had a bad experience every single time I have gone here. Last two times they had forgotten to put our sandwiches in the bag. This time we pulled to the drive through, they told us they would be with us in a moment, 5 minutes go by, someone pulls up to the other speaker and they take their order and pull ahead of us, then take our order. I’m done giving this place a chance. Would have been nice to have had a well ran new business in town. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Normally, I love Popeyes, but this location in Cortez, CO really was a disappointment. Ordered to eat inside, got to go instead . Chicken pieces were very small, wing instead of leg. No condiments. Biscuit was flat. The interior of restaurant was very basic. The parking lot was very cramped, had to exit thru the neighboring business lot. The worst store in town. They get the order wrong or missing items, never on the ready so it takes super long (even longer then a sit down restaurant) and the employee and supervisor are lazy. Please stop giving them business and the store will go away and maybe replaced with something better. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I've eaten at many Popeyes, but this store is by far the worst of all. The biscuits taste and smelt bad like feet or something. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in cheap oil or bad cooking oil. No flavor what so ever. I'm very disappointed in this place. The manager was always on his phone. Everyone who was buying food waited 20 minutes or more to have food cooked. This last visit was the final straw. This place doesn’t get to pull the “new business” card anymore. First off, even though advertised, they didn’t have what we wanted. And after ordering something different we waited 15 minutes at the window as directed, without any kind of interaction.. not even to collect the money. There was one car behind us and one pair of customers inside, so not busy. This was our 3rd visit and will certainly be our last. The last time we were skimmed on nuggets and the first time the food was simply bad. Corporate should consider training and paying better or just make room for a better business. You can't go wrong with Popeye's chicken. The employees here are all pretty friendly, but they're usually understaffed, so wait times can take a long time. I don't see them getting more staff in the future, as they don't seem to get much business to offset the cost of hiring more employees. I love Popeyes, could wait till they got to little Cortez. The thighs are consistently tiny, look like Cornish game hens! Never have spicy thighs, 12 minute wait. Rice always under cooked. Super excited to see a Popeye’s come up on our way passing through Cortez. Customer service was okay at best, but we waited 20+ minutes for an order of nuggets and 3 fries. Not really sure why we had to wait so long. Place wasn’t even busy. We had 4 cars waiting in the parking lot for our orders. Sorry for the bad review, but you gotta try harder.
