I'm so glad Playa is opening up in Metro Detroit. When I lived in Jersey I was obsessed. Now theres a closer location. The goji bowl was great, I'll definitely be back.

I visited today with my husband and our kids. I can’t have dairy nor gluten and there were so many amazing options. The girls behind the counter were so pleasant and sweet. We tried bowls and smoothies, the coconut and açaí base bowls were everything. The bowls were pretty large. And I loved the vegan and gluten free granola with the honey drizzle. The smoothies were delicious. I can see this being pricey for some people, but it was worth it to me. Enjoyed the vibe
I wish I knew the names of the 2 employees today --they were so sweet and just fun to hang out with.

After waiting for over 45 minutes, I left due to slow service. Despite the possibility of good bowls, the wait for what is essentially a fancy parfait is unreasonable. The quickness celebrated in the other reviews must be fake.

Been looking forward to trying this place for so long, and when I finally make it the employees could not give less of a damn that I was in there. No greeting, talking behind the counter ignoring me, just rude. Told them my name and it was to go, and they didn’t give me a bag. When I asked for one, the girl with glasses gave me attitude and said “a bag!?” When I clearly said yes it’s for takeout. Bowls are average for the price. First and last time in very disappointing.

This is my favorite açaí bowl spot by far. They’re always so kind and the bowls are PACKED. I end up getting two meals out of one which is super nice. I love this place.

I’ve personally been here multiple times, and every time they have great service and great food and for the most part, it is all healthy based on your own preference and delicious. If I could come here every day, I would this is by far my favorite small restaurant for açaí bowls!
