We stopped for breakfast, fully expecting to sit for forty-five minutes. to an hour. We were done eating and out the door in 16 minutes. Our server was fantastic. She served with a smile the whole time. The food was on the table amazingly fast and tasted homemade. Some of the best food I've had! I was surprised by how good the price was! Definitely would eat here again. If you're looking for a nice, clean, family restaurant with an old school feel. This is the place to go!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great diner feel with friendly faces and food that is full of flavor. The service was not only friendly; I think it only took about 3 minutes to get my food after ordering! A large party sat in my section shortly after I ordered, and I received as much attention as they did. The employees know the regulars, and it makes for a very welcoming environment. Overall, a very pleasant experience! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visiting Knoxville for an event and I couldn’t be more happy with this breakfast. I own two restaurants back home in Naples FL, and I gotta say: Pete’s is outstanding. Breakfast bowl was so good that I had to get a BLT to-go for lunch. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes blt

Our waitress was AMAZING! Her name is Becky and she was so sweet and informative. We got parking right in front of the door and the meter still had 28 minutes on it. We increased it to 1 hour expecting it to be a longer experience. We walked in and were greeted by so many friendly faces and although it said to seat ourselves they pointed us to several tables. We sat down and Becky gave us time to look over the menu and answered questions. Not even 3 minutes later we received our order. Our food was hot and cooked PERFECTLY! It was wonderful and affordable. We found a friend in Becky and we know that we will make the drive to see her and eat at Pete’s again!

Very busy but enjoyed the food. The time between placing the order and receiving the food was not bad considering how busy it was. The wait to be seated was a little bit but felt longer when you wait outside in the cold. If you are someone who feels a little uncomfortable being in a crowded place, you may want to wait for a time when it's not too busy.... When that time is? I don't know. It's a popular place to eat at and every time I've been there it's been busy. I would recommend going if you haven't already. This is the place I go on the regular when I'm in town for the gold standard eggs, bacon, toast and potato breakfast with a great cup of coffee. Super friendly courteous staff and they're there to get you what you need and they're quick! Love, love, love this place. Great little spot close to downtown! Friendly atmosphere and great service with excellent food as well. If your visiting K-town then make sure to drop by and enjoy some southern hospitality. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Don't believe the 4.7-star rating! It's not true. I feel bad for leaving a bad review as the folks are sooo nice here, I wish I could say the same for the food. The name of the place says Pete's coffee, and they only have one type of coffee! When I asked the waitress if they had any other types of coffee she did point out that they have french vanillia creamer! Then she asked if I wanted a cup of tea instead. The part that really shocked me was all the "Best Breakfast" placards hanging on the wall by the entrance. Is this the only breakfast place in Knoxville? Are there worse places? 🥶 Or do the local newspapers give these out to restaurants when they take out advertisements? First time at Pete’s, my server Stormie was very nice and recommended Blueberry pancakes combo. Very delicious. Stormie’s was very kind and atmosphere is awesome. What made the experience even better was a Local Firefighter named Bill (Regular) chatted it up with me. Went to go pay and found out he covered my meal cost. Good people, great place. Old school 4 star place. Better than one would have expected, and we expected good food. Friendly staff and great, fast breakfast. It's the kind of place that if I lived in downtown Knoxville I'd probably be torn between raving about and wanting to keep a secret so I could still get a quick good breakfast when I was in the mood.
