This place has THE BEST sopes I have ever tasted. The portions of meat, cheese, beans, lettuce and cheese with their fried masa is sooooo good. I am a regular, and though I now live in Fresno, I drive to Madera just to get their food. For a very small restaurant, the taste, size and prices make up for it. Their Panaderia is also very nice stocked and fresh. I usually get the breakfast burrito (super yummy and filling) but lately I've been getting the sopes. Love the food here and the green salsa is delicious.

I love, Love this place. They have the best of everything. The pan dulce is always fresh. The bolillos are ways warm. The flautas are to die. Take a look.

!!!Mold on the Empenadas!!! I told the owner who was at the cashier and he just looked at me! Instead of dumping out the entire tray and not risk someone eating a moldy piece! That truly showed his greed. On a different occasion I bought nearly $50 food and he gives me 2 sauces!!! Come on bro!!! When the owner is not there the cashier girls are alot more generous with the salsa than the owner. What a cheapskate!

Best horchata I've had hands down (creamy with the perfect amount of cinnamon), in the morning the whole place smells like the tasty breads and pastries they're baking. My chicken quesadilla was toasted to perfection, delicious and last for two meals. My co-worker stated the chorizo and eggs with was equally delicious. While we ate we watched them steam made daily tamales that sell out quick. I will be driving the hour and a half drive for more of those cheese and jalapeño tamales.

only reason im rating it one star, it is because the cooks have an unacceptable behavior and attitude. i had never had a problem here till today and im disappointed that i wont be coming here again. food is great but customer service is unacceptable and pure discrimination. it is not fair for some people to act certain ways to other just because you see them lower than yourself. this cook had the audacity to talk back to my mother when THEY DID NOT HAVE OUR ORDER READY ON TIME OR AT ALL. im genuinely sorry for the team but that cook that should not work there with those manners, unacceptable.
