Our first visit to Paradise Indian Grill was earlier today (Saturday) for their Brunch Buffet. We were seated immediately upon entering and the wait staff kept our sodas topped off...there were a few big screen televisions on the walls and one one showing how to make some Indian dishes, showing the ingredients, amounts, and step by step instructions...found that very interesting. They had a number of tasty choices to choose from on the buffet line and my favorites were the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Chili Chicken, and the Naan Bread. The Baby Corn Manchurian was a nice surprise as well. The chicken dishes had a nice level of spice and the rice choices were served up perfectly cooked...my only complaint, and its on me for getting there a little late, was that the amount of each of the foods on the buffet was a little on the light side. I wish they would have restocked the items...when they brought out some fresh Naan Bread it was warm and delicious. I love their food here! I always want to try something new, but I seem to always end up going back to their Butter Chicken and Plain Naan. It's so good. And for the price, it's a good value, as I can usually make it last for 2 meals. I usually order to go, and the service is really quick. Always absolutely delicious food from this tucked away little spot. We’ve been eating here for years. One of our top choice for Indian food in CR. Today I picked up a take out order. Their site used to have an asap pickup as 45 min out. They’ve change it to 30 min. Unfortunately, tonight it took the full 45 min for my food to be ready. But the order was accurate, very hot, and so tasty! My husband was soo very exited that they are now removing the tails from the shrimp in the tikki masala. While I was waiting to pick up my order I heard a man say he loved the naan and gave it 9/10. While taking his first bites of his meal, he actually bounced in his seat and said, “I love this so much!” I understand his sentiment! Tried the Saturday lunch buffet and it was amazing! Lots of choices for both meat and veggie dishes and the appetizers are really good. The staff was really kind too and offered us free dosas! I came in looking for a to go order but I needed to be able to bring home things my family would try since they haven't had a lot of Indian and I have little kids who don't do a lot of spice. I was greeted as soon as I came in and the gentleman taking my order even helped me pick out options that were more mild and options for the kids. Love the food and the people are wonderful and it didn't take to long either even though I ordered and waited. Absolutely will be going back! Food is outstanding here. We had pepper fried chicken, butter chicken and masala tea. The owner is super nice! We are going to drive from St.Louis to Iowa to have that pepper fried chicken again🤤 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

The location is in a shopping center and has a colorful sign to show its front doors. The inside is very clean and open with a more modern design. I like it! A bar sits in the back of the restaurant and the drinks were poured with a heavy hand ;). The food was great. I love the chicken fried rice they have. We also got some okra, butter chicken, and somosas. Everything was quite delicious. We got spicy 1/5 because of the kids. I love spicy food and even this spice level I could feel some heat, so I was happy. The kids who love spicy food could just handle it, but needed a good bit of water. The only negative was the wait time. It took us around 45-50 minutes to get our food because they had a bunch of orders they were preparing for dashers, but the owner let us know when we sat so that was greatly appreciated. Food was delicious. I had the butter chicken and it was very flavorful. But my friend let me try some of her kabob and that was delicious next time I go that is what I will get. Only 3 stars because service was questionable. I arrived late and was given my friends beverage. We had to ask multiple times for silverware. He just seemed distracted and disinterested. The person who recommended this place had amazing service so maybe just an off night but the food is amazing.

Cedar Rapids has several Indian dining options and Paradise is near the top of the list. The food is excellent - the chana masala is amazing and complex, and the aloo gobi curry was equally delicious. Portions are generous and the food was spicy without being overpowering. As some others have noted, there is room for improvement in service - when we were greeted, the person seemed distracted and only gave us one menu. A different person served the food and he was more friendly and attentive.
