Hate being squished against strangers. But worth it for the food. They grind their own beans but I don’t drink coffee. Don’t order iced tea they don’t know how to make it. Amazing corned beef hash. Incredible tuna melt. Good French toast. The breakfast potatoes are way way greasy. I don’t recommend.

First time in this place, and the atmosphere is really great, with a good vibe, and the food is super fresh and delicious... I like that they take the time to prepare your food, they are dedicated when preparing it and I like that. 100% recommended but yes, bring cash because they only accept cash!

I’ve been here a handful of times, and I’m always happy with my experience. The servers are usually kind and helpful, and the food comes out quickly. The fries here are some of the best I’ve ever had. Their ice cream and cakes/cheesecakes are also wonderful. Pancakes are great too.

The good/great: The atmosphere including the music, the fast and friendly service, really tasty food. Plus Taylor ham on the menu for any Jersey natives like myself.
The OK: Limited counter-only seating.
The bad: The pricing is outrageous and totally out of line with what you'd expect from a diner with this aesthetic. Bougie Boston brunch prices out in Biddeford, I was totally taken aback. Not a deal breaker, but be forewarned.

Wonderful diner! There are only 15 seats inside, but service is fast so you won't wait long. We loved our meals. The caramelized grapefruit was a real treat!
Heads up that they are cash only so stop by the very conveniently located ATM just beside their door.

Incredible breakfast, great staff. Definitely worth the visit, and experience. Everything is very classic American diner food, but close to perfected. Most people can do a good breakfast, and have elaborate over the top menus (which I enjoy), but Palace Diner smashes the classics. Small, 10-12 seat~ diner, so it’s a hot contender to get there. Was lucky the other day; happy I visited. One of the best French Toasts I’ve had yet, almost didn’t need maple syrup.

The kind of American food that should be iconic the world over! Simple but delicious, with quality ingredients and serves by friendly folks in great portions.
The restaurant itself is a little cramped (it’s from another time) and it’s cash only. Worth a visit!

What a landmark staple of Biddeford. It only took me 15+ years to get my *ss there to try it!! ... and now I can't stop until I get through the whole menu.
So far, hash with cheesy eggs, the cheeseburger with fries, and the chicken sandwich have been conquered.
The atmosphere is great, it's like traveling back in time (50's music playing over the speakers). The wait staff are very friendly and welcoming with a cup of coffee when you arrive.
Speaking of arrival, there is usually a wait but you can add your name to the list and they will notify you when you're up. There are no reservations, but a small park outside with chairs and a table which is usually in the sun, or a small step to Doc's tavern to grab a quick beer while you wait. Cash only at both places, but they have atm's.
The food quality and originality really shine through. Subtle twists on classic plates. They also serve soft drinks and cheap beers if you choose. The establishment is clean and welcoming.
Takeout seemed to be popular on the busier weekends, and parking is hit or miss. May take a couple of pairs around the parking lot/block.

Fried Chicken Sandwich
Absolutely the best place for breakfast IT IS A MUST. They are known for their palace potatoes and they surely are delicious (dip them in maple syrup you won’t regret it)! I got French toast and they are massive and heavenly!!! They have super friendly staff and they have cute merchandise. Soak up the history in this place :)
