This place is very popular, and their staff is a well oiled machine! Huge menu, amazing prices, fun atmosphere. We got here at 1030 on a Saturday, the place was packed. We got on the wait list and waited maybe 10 minutes... FYI if you get on the list before 11am you still get breakfast. Tables have a quick turn over and music is at a low volume so chatting is easy. We got the homemade biscuits/sausage gravy and southwest breakfast burro.. neighbor got one pancake! Huge portions! This is the first time in Durango. We enjoyed Oscars the first morning so much that we went every morning for five days in a row. Very nice staff on the mission to provide exceptional customer service, and delicious food. The restaurant has been around for 40 something years and was recently taken over two years ago. Small diner, limited table and counter space, somewhat inconspicuous in the middle of strip center. Could be a wait at times, but believe me , worth any wait because it is a jewel once you walk in the door. The atmosphere will capture your attention , the menu will inspire and the food will complelely satisfy your taste. Excellent friendly fast service, awesome breakfast, gotta try the french toast, hash browns cooked to perfection, good value. I wouldnt go here if you are on a diet! This place is amazing, had a great experience here for breakfast on our trip to Durango. Food was really good , the service was quick...very busy book ahead on there app....lines can be out the door, but well worth the wait. Hollie provided excellent service. Bacon cheeseburger with fries. Sampled the green chili. Topped off with a liege of Homemade Carmel Apple Walnut pie...yummy...I only wished I made it back in for a piece of coconut cream pie. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A small local cafe with adequate variety of food & beverages. Stopped by twice at Oscar’s Cafe during the trip in July - once for lunch to dine in and next morning for breakfast takeout. Service - 5 stars Food Variety - 5 stars Taste & portion - 5 stars Value for money - 5 stars Waiting time - 5 stars Ambience - 4 stars - definitely a busy place and it may not be very convenient to dine in if you have toddlers / you did stop by during busy hours. We got there during off hours (about an hour before closing time) for lunch, so we didn’t have to wait longer to be seated. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the scenic view. Looked very busy in the morning next day. People were waiting in a long queue to order food / dine in. However, since we had preordered the breakfast for take out, it was quick as a wink. Grabbed the food and went to Rossa park which was in about two minutes driving distance from Oscar’s cafe. If you don’t mind enjoying your breakfast in a park and want to save some time from waiting in the queue, you may opt for a take out. All in all, it was a nice experience. Food was filling and each order came with a side. So, make sure you consider the portion before ordering multiple menu items. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Absolutely a must!!! Food Delicious! Service A+ Family trip we are from MS, TN, and GA (Go Dawgs) passing through from ski trip in Telluride. French toast BEST EVER!!! Pancakes, Omlettes, Hashbrowns... You can't go wrong!!! Green chili sauce recommended by Oscar... Absolutely delicious. Very personable and kind treated us to one of his pies. Well worth it!!! We love this place and it’s a must go to when visiting Durango! Their breakfast is just amazing! Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly! The train going above is always a favorite for the kids! I can’t say how much we love going here! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
