Cute place in the middle of a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood! But not that ono… For starters, look at how little filling is in it! The oozing out of the hole thing is such a lie!😂 The other 2 are pretty measly filled too…🥲 What I’m not very happy about is that the donuts are already pretty pricey to begin with, but you won’t get any filling (which is what makes a malasada, a malasada) unless you pay another 75¢ EACH, and drizzle for another 50¢. Plus, the flavor choices are so disappointing… Besides the haupia, which tasted pretty faint and I didn’t get much of it anyway, the flavors are pretty generic — chocolate, Nutella, Bavarian cream, biscoff… I could just go to any other Bismarck donut place, or better yet, Chubby Baker! WHERE ARE THE HAWAIIAN FLAVORS THAT I CAME HERE FOR?! Can it not just be a drizzle?!… Dough is hot, fresh, and fluffy though, I’ll give them that. The savory options are unique and worth trying one day. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The malasadas were huge, warm, delicious and they had a good variety of fillings to choose from. They have other food options, which we didn't try. I've been here twice, I recommend the Nutella cream! Heavenly!

My 4 star is completely based off of my flavor preferences. I’ve always had great service. Love the idea of this place. It’s a little expensive as is everything these days. My main request would be to have the sandwiches be on a less sweet dough. It’s a sweet dough for savory sandwiches. Always a pleasant experience and loved that they brought the fresh lime back.

Ono’s is seriously THE BEST pastry shop on the Wasatch front. It’s not JUST a pastry shop. The sand inches of all kind are seriously not to miss. The hand rolled and risen dough is fluffy and yet chewy and just sweet enough. The mango drizzle and the assorted dips are definitely a MUST. ALSO! Do not forget to order a limeade as it’s the original recipe from when this location was a burger joint back in the day. The owner is a local woman in her twenties and is kicking a$$ and working hard to be successful. Go say hello and support local businesses!!
So fun that this is in Provo! It was fun that you could customize it, but it does start to add up the $$. Definitely worth a visit every now and then. You can make cookies at home, but if you need unique treats, this is the place. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
I'd give it 5-stars, but there just isn't much to this place. You have a few options for breakfast sandwiches, and a few options for Malasadas (Portuguese donut-ish treats). The place was clean, fun paint, a pink phone booth, and tasty food in a timely manner.
This place!! I was lucky enough to be able to try a couple of their malasada sandwiches (BBQ chicken & Monte Cristo) and I can die happy now!!! The malasada buns are INSANE! I got to try the sweet malasadas too and I feel like I’m back in Oahu indulging in my favorite sweet treats! I am obsessed! The owner Sophie is so friendly which is amazing! Can’t wait to frequent this place all. The. Time. If you want to be swept away to Hawaii for a few beautiful minutes while eating the best treat’s & sandwiches you can fine GO TODAY. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

I think they're the best malasadas in Utah. We ordered all cinnamon sugar coated, with one plain, one chocolate-filled, and one lemon-filled. The lemon was tart and satisfying and the chocolate was quite runny but the flavor was delicious. Recommend.

We visited the food truck several months ago and I love seeing how much Ono’s has grown! They now offer savory food, more drinks, and of course the malasadas. Today, I got the cinnamon one filled with the Bavarian cream! Even with it being the grand opening and quite a few people there, I only had to wait a few minutes! All seating is outdoors but there are a few stand heaters that help take the chill off. I look forward to coming again and getting a sandwich, those look great. I really enjoyed the malasada. The dough was soft and chewy, the coating stuck on very well, and the filling wasn’t too sweet. I know they’ll be successful! Happy grand opening!!
