Sad to hear that this is no longer! I enjoyed the seaside drive to visit various food trucks every week. It was nice supporting small businesses and the local economy. I liked that it was near lots of parking and shopping. Only thing I’d improve would be some sort of shade for the picnic tables. Luckily, unrelated to the event, there were plenty shaded tables near the shops. Hopefully, this weekly event can regroup near Spirits Alley. West End breweries could use this!
The music can be a little profane at times but the food's really good. Since it's right next to the shopping center AND the beach, it's a good place for hanging out. The food trucks also change around a lot, so if you see something there you might want, best to grab it now because it might not be there next week!

Good collection of food trucks. My favorite is Senor Sisig and Southern Comfort Kitchen . There are plenty of street parkings around OMCA . I wish there are more tables but I definitely enjoyed the vibe here.

Why on earth do they not have umbrellas at the tables? No one wants to sit in the blazing sun, or the ones who do are not enjoying the experience 100%. Would it kill you to buy a couple dozen umbrellas or pop up coverings? Because it's killing the business to the trucks. It's not rocket science guys. Jeez! Lobster roll at Lotalobster- Watery, squished in bread.ew
Good selection of trucks with live music. Lots of seating. Dumplings are like huge meatballs at the Happy Dumpling Truck.
This was one of the best parts of living in Alameda. I loved coming here weekly with my dogs. They always have a variety of trucks that change every week. It's fun to go with family or friends and split a sushi burrito, California burrito, chicken and waffles, bbq, Korean food, and so much more
If you really like a good food truck experience, this ain't the one. Save your $ and eat at ANY of the restaurants across the parking lot.
Food trucks every Saturday. This is one of my favorites.

Absolutely great Off the Grid event that happens almost every Saturday at South Shore Center in Alameda (weather & covid regulations permitting). There are always at the very least 6 trucks to choose from, but very often more. So there is great variety in food, desserts, and drinks to choose from. The event host also parks their truck with music playing. The event itself is free with plenty of free parking so often times people will set up tables and chairs next to their cars to enjoy the music and food. The food prices reflect in the good size portions the vendors serve. This is a very nice family event in a safe area that is also close to Alameda beach. Hands down a family favorite that we've been to several times! Highly recommended!!
