Rachel with Odd Bird Baking was a dream to work with. We stumbled on her artistry this last Winter at our new favorite Coffee Shop, Still Life Coffee. I grabbed a card and decided to send her an email to see if she could make a special cake for my parent’s 65th Wedding Anniversary Celebration. This beautiful cake was a hit with everyone at the party! I mean, melt-in-your-mouth vanilla magic. Thank you so much Rachel! It was also nice to meet you at the Farmer’s Market! We look forward to enjoying your treats at Still Life until we need another cake!
It’s been about six months since I ordered a cake from here. I got it for my husband’s birthday weekend trip in Durango. My husband and I are still talking about how delicious this cake was and wishing we could order another one for my birthday! These cakes are a must if you’re in Durango celebrating anything special!

Superhumans are real... and living among us. Odd Bird Baking has the MOST delicious, divine, and utterly spectacular morsels this earth has to offer. This bakers superpowers extend into her food, allowing us mortals to experience a brief moment of pure bliss. Lavender blue corn meal scone? DEVOURED. Persian love cake? GULP. I cannot recommend enough. From coffeeshop treats to perfectly delicious cakes, Odd Bird has you covered. 10 stars.
Oh my gosh! I ordered a cake for my sisters bridal shower and this cake was to die for! I regret not getting a bigger one! The cake was so delicious you want to savor every bite but it’s hard because this magical cake just melts in your mouth. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Thank you Rachel and the bride was super pleased!
Coincidence brought us together, and we now look forward to enjoying Odd Bird's baked goods again and again. We found them at the Harvest Market just before Thanksgiving. I've never trusted someone else with my pies for this holiday, and I might have just found some folks who can save me the the labor of it all in the future. The pumpkin w/choco streusel (I thinks that's what she said it was... I would say pure delight) was out of this world! Paired with a cold glass of milk, the room was full of smiles and 'mmm mmm mm' sounds. :)
Baked goods, pastries, pies, cakes!!! Odd Bird Baking is fabulous! Everything made from scratch and crafted with love. Everything I have tried melts in my mouth. So delicious. And creative flavors. The Pajama Boxes are so delicious!! I wish I could give Odd Bird Baking CO 20 stars! That's how good it is!
Brought sister down to Durango for her birthday. She is gluten free and I had found the best shop that was exactly what she was wanting! Rachel is an incredible baker and we appreciate everything she did to make my sister's trip special!
