I asked if they can make me a vegetarian salad and they came up with basically a few green leaves and some tomatoes. Every supermarket in Norway has about 20 vegetarian options at the salad buffet to create a beautiful take away. At Nordis the fully educated chef has no ideas how to make an exciting salad for 200kr (15Euros). So sad, so little passion for your profession. Told the waiter to send a message to the kitchen and he just pulled an irritated face and mumbled an OK. No sorry or any response, like asking what could have been better or if they could offer me something different. I worked myself in kitchen and as a waiter. All in all at Nordis an experience far behind international standards. Not coming back Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Food was good, we had the fish and chips and skagen sandwich. Service quick for Norwegian standards (10-15mins until food arrives) and there is a nice view to the Svolvaer harbour. Most pathetic burger of 2023. Dry bread, almost no dressing, overcooked meat and a slice of cheese from a cheap pack judging from the taste. Posh and modern space that has a full bar. The pizzas are great and salads fresh. Wide selection of wine and beer. Food is pricey but that's the price for a posh restaurant. Staff are cold and took ages to get served. Stars deducted for poor service.

Fishsoup/Fiskesuppe! Sorry, This was on the lower end. Ordered a fishsoup, quite fast delivery. The soup did contain 20+ shrimps, «half a liter hvitsaus» and just ONLY 3-4 Small bits of fish. About 1cm to 2cm in lengt. For the price 309,- nok for the soup and a Coke Zero. You guys have to try harder, this is NO fishsoup compared on what you delivered under the «Du verden» name earlyer. Stopped here for wine and a bacon Cheese Burger while in town. Good burger. Lots of open seating. Beautiful views of the water. Friendly staff.
