?this is a joke. Ultra Ugly both outside(cheap metal pieces) and inside. The building itself doesnt match the surroundings whatsoever.

Nitja is the best place in Lillestrøm. Superfriendly staff that are putting so much effort so that all visitors can feel themselves wellcome. Although exhibition area is not so big, there is new exhibition every month. Weekend workshops for kids- you probably can’t find better activity for kids in greater Oslo region. Every weekend there is new topic, great material they’re working with, again dedicated and friendly staff, different artist working with kids - so inspiring. Cosy caffe plus excellent lobby area with design furniture where you can read newspaper/books/magazines, play board games or simply enjoy.

I'll be honest, it was a nice place when I went there but there is very little to do there. The museum has a very unique idea and what it can be is big. But right now it is kind of boring to be entirely honest.

They tore down old, valuable architecture to make space for a large modernist museum with too little exhibition space. A crime against local heritage and a bad use of resources.
