Surprisingly, really tasty tacos and good amount of meat in them. Bought different tacos at 3.80 each (9/2023), and my favorite one was the barbacoa one, but all of them had juicy and well-seasoned meat. Been at self called traditional Mexican restaurants that had less tastier tacos. Would eat here again, no doubt! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We came here over 12 years ago and have been trying to find it again ever since (couldn't recall the name all this time). They have numerous fresh made salsas of different varieties, all tasty. Great tacos! They are just as good as 12 years ago and we would definitely highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Our family is from Austin, TX so we know a thing or two about tacos. Every trip to Durango we eat at Nini’s at least once if not more. Love the different salsa options. Margarita’s are good too! Nice patio out back where you can bring your dog. Great local place!
Good tacos, but pretty whitewashed. Based on the reviews and the region, I really expected more. Great service, nice views, really no complaints. It just wasn’t GREAT food. This is what Taco Bell wants to be when it grows up. If you’re into playing it safe, this is the spot for you. If you’re into authentic flavors, look elsewhere.

Very good food! Got a barbacoa burrito and 2 beef tacos for the kids, with black bean and corn salsa and another mild. They were all very good. With 4 drinks, it was about $30. Not the cheapest, but it really hit the spot, service was fast and polite and thorough, atmosphere was charming. I'd go again, for sure. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10

I ordered the fish tacos with mild mango salsa. It looked pretty. I took a couple bites and tried to eat it, but the fish was dry. It is different than what I'm use to. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Walked in, stood directly at the counter, and the woman behind the counter looked directly past me and greeted the huge party with unruly children behind me. She never looked at me. Until *I* spoke up and asked to order. I got my three tacos served in a plastic basket lined with paper and they were impossible to eat as they immediately broke and fell apart due to the liquid from the salsa. Used a fork to eat the pile of what were tacos and ate the soaked paper now at the bottom of the plastic basket along with the tacos. I asked the employee on the floor for a dinner plate and he looked at me with complete confusion as he couldn't understand the word "plate." They have employees that can't understand the English language or even can put "plate" and "plato" together in their head, so don't bother asking them for anything. The plastic basket they serve their tacos in is typically used for French fries or tortilla chips anywhere else in the world, not tacos that would be better served on a dinner plate. The party behind me had six children that squealed, yelled and ran around for the entire time I tried to enjoy my dinner. Fail. They then loitered and played in front of the door as I was just trying to get out of there. Parents that let little Susie and Johnny do whatever they want instead of being trained properly to sit at a dinner table and behave properly in public. Sucked for a dining environment. All-in-all my experience here sucked and I doubt that I'll be back. I'd like to eat my tacos without falling into a heap into a French fry basket lined in soaked paper that rips when you try to eat with a fork and am told they don't have plates. This is a quaint little spot that could be classified as fast food because they are faster than Taco Bell at making your order but the food is really good quality, doesn’t taste like fast food, and the staff is super kind. Definitely recommend. I ordered the chili which was amazing and my parents got chicken tacos and a chicken burrito. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10

Meh! Not much to say about 12 dollar tortilla chips with half a diced chicken breast, & rubberized cheese.. you could probably do it better at home. The staff were super friendly & the location is great if you're shopping on Main. My daughter liked her barbacoa quesadilla though so I gave an extra star for her! Now this was solid Mexican food! They were very knowledgeable with my wife’s gluten allergy and very accommodating. Beyond that I was able to try six of the different salsas ranging from the Sweet Mango and Black Bean with Corn on the mild end up to the Chipotle Purée on the spicier end. Each salsa was fresh and had good flavor that added to the meal. Portion sizes were generous and no one walked away hungry. When I’m back in Durango I’ll be looking this place up again.
