First time trying this place and I'll definitely come back. When ordering, the cashier was very nice and told us that the beef & lamb gyro was one of the popular dishes. So we got that and the greek fries to share. We dined in and the restaurant itself is very clean. We also got our food rather quickly. The food was very good! I'm excited to try more items on the menu! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Subject: Disappointing Experience with Nick The Greek I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Nick The Greek and felt compelled to share my feedback. Unfortunately, the issues I encountered were numerous and significantly impacted my overall satisfaction with the dining experience. Firstly, I attempted to contact the restaurant by phone on several occasions, and each time, my calls went unanswered. This lack of responsiveness left me frustrated and questioning the level of customer service provided by Nick The Greek. It is essential for a restaurant to be accessible, especially when customers have inquiries or need assistance. Upon finally placing an order, I was disheartened to discover that the quality of the food did not meet my expectations. The chicken I received was notably old, dry, and lacked any discernible flavor. It was evident that the dish had not been prepared with the care and attention to detail that one would expect from a reputable establishment. The disappointment was further compounded by the fact that I paid extra for certain items, only to receive a subpar product that did not justify the additional cost. This experience has left me questioning the overall value and integrity of Nick The Greek. Paying extra for items should result in an enhanced dining experience, not a letdown. I sincerely hope that [Restaurant Name] takes these concerns seriously and considers improvements in the areas of customer service, food quality, and overall value. As a customer who has previously enjoyed your offerings, it is disheartening to see a decline in the standards I once associated with Nick The Greek. I hope that this feedback is taken constructively and used to make positive changes for the benefit of both the restaurant and its patrons. Never been or heard of this place. Had to stop by and try it. We ordered Greek Fries and Beignets. The fries were amazing: feta, garlic, and greens onions with a side of dipping sauce. They came out fresh and I love how the feta tasted with that fry. I also really liked the Beignet’s, it looked light and airy but it was filling (maybe not put so much syrup). That was all we ordered that day, but we’ll be sure to try other things on the menu when we come back!!! Staff: thank you for serving us as friendly as you were at the time of pandemic! And complying with COVID policy; providing hand sanitizer, wearing masks, and social distancing! Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $20–30

Check my review history, I post more 5 stars than not. I try to be open minded when trying a new place. But a couple weird things happened. I ordered take out from here. I got a gyro plate with the upgraded fries to Greek fries for an extra $1, a chicken pita, and a gyro kids meal, and paid $4 extra to get double gyro so the kids can split it. Maybe I’m unlucky but more times than not, when I get takeout from somewhere I always get something wrong with my order, so I check it in the restaurant before I go home. I noticed they forgot my extra serving of gyro on the kids meal, so they happily gave me the extra side. Great, that’s fine. At least I didn’t drive home and then notice it. But there were about 5 guys back in the kitchen and all of them were STARING at me, like the whole time I was talking to the nice lady at the register, like a solid 30 seconds of these guys staring at me. It was so bizarre. I get home and my wife points out they forgot the fries in her chicken Pita. Oh well, we just grabbed some from the kids and stuffed it in there. But there’s nothing worse than getting the order wrong in my book Now the food, maybe I’m just spoiled by Troy in DT Martinez, but that gyro shouldn’t be called gyro. I felt like I was eating SPAM. Which hey I love me some SPAM, but not when I’m expecting Gyro. It says it’s a Lamb/Beef combo but I didn’t taste any lamb. My wife says missing fries aside, her Chicken Pita was good. I’ve come to find you can’t expect good fries when getting takeout because it’s soggy by the time you get home. Not their fault, but the Greek fries were pretty good with the added feta, chives and garlic. All in all, it was “meh”. It’s ok food, overpriced as everything is nowadays, 4 stars, down to 3 because of the glaring workers and forgetting the fries and extra Gyro. My friend I decided to try this place. I ordered the Greek salad, but I guess I didn't pay attention. It didn't have lettuce. I believe this is more traditional, but not a fan. My friend's burger was big, but more bread than meat and she said the garlic fries were more feta than garlic. Next time we will get the gyro instead. Not bad. Service is lacking. Food is okay. Ordered a combo and they forgot the drink. Had to go ask for it. Not that big of a deal, but indicative of the service experience. Fries are a bit soggy. Gyro was okay. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
I have never ever had a gyro with this much flavor. The pork belly was tender, full of flavor and just perfection. The pita is fried which makes it super crispy. I can’t believe this place is so close- will definitely be back this weekend. Restaurant is nice and spacious. Covid restrictions are observed. Tables are spread apart the right distance for safety. Employees are very helpful and courteous! Welcome to the Veranda
The place was dirty. The customer service was horrid I stood there while the cashier was on their phone. Took my order and then walked off assuming I was paying with card. Made a face once he noticed I was paying cash. Gave me a the wrong order. Usually love these places but I had a horrible experience. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Came in and got a free baklava! That’s how we felt after dropping in for Mediterranean dessert. Came and ordered from there remote ordering screen some Froyo and baklava. By the time the order got delivered assuming by Nick, to our great disappointment Froyo machine was down. We got refunded full price and given baklava to go. Great hospitality and way to treat customers. Will be running back next time for lunch or late dinner. Ευχαριστώ!

In 2022, I was introduced to Nick the Greek's restaurant (in The Veranda, Concord.) I was hooked immediately. The restaurant is always clean, and the customer service is great😁👍 (Giselle, Jada, & Ariana A) I am always greeted with a smile, by friendly and helpful people. The cooks are always surprisingly quick to prepare my orders. The food is very fresh. I order the beef and lamb Gyro Bowl . The portions are large and come in a biodegradable bowl. I like to have leftovers on a toasted flour tortilla, or a deep fried corn tortilla. The frozen yogurt is great. I like to eat it with graham crackers, as a healthier cheese cake alternative..I also like to throw granola with almonds or fresh fruit on it. It works great as a dessert or quick breakfast. There are many options to choose from. Just ask, and they will customize your food. The location is convenient. Close to shopping malls, (Willows, Sun Valley, and Park n Shop. It's located along Hwy 680 and just South of Hwy 4. Stop by and treat yourself, family, friends and co-workers. 😁👍 Thank you, Moosh🐭, for recommending Nick the Greek💯🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Baklava
