We had dinner at Naruto with a party of 5. We arrived on time for our reservation and asked for water while being seated. We received our drinks but still no bottled water for the table. We had to ask 3 more times before we received water at which time they asked us to place all food orders (apps & entrees). We weren’t ready to do that so we placed appetizer orders at that time.
We each ordered an appetizer. My edamame came out wrong, and 2 appetizers arrived 20 mins after all the others.
We placed our entree orders and waited and waited and waited. After 50 mins, I got up to ask a server about it because if they hadn’t started our order at that point we were just going to leave and eat elsewhere. Her response to me was that she told me we should’ve ordered everything when we sat down and she repeated twice that she told me. My problem was that the restaurant wasn’t busy and They appeared to have plenty of staff. It seemed to be a severe time management issue.
Our food was good once we finally got it. Our dinner was 3 hours…for sushi! The lack of service and dismissive attitude means we won’t be visiting Naruto in Simpson Bay anytime soon.

Beef Ramen Smoky Volcano Roll and Fried Rice
Decided to go to Naruto at it's new location. I called ahead and was told that it was a bit full but that I should still come. So me and my girlfriend arrived at Naruto, the place looks very nice however we stood inside for about 5 mins and nobody even acknowledged us or even asked us anything. It seemed as though the staff were avoiding us on purpose. So we did not appreciate being ignored like that and we took our buisness elsewhere.
BAD ramen. Good service. I've had ramen around the world - from Tokyo to NYC - and understand that I'm on an island. The noodles were unacceptably soggy (all 5 of us agreed) and the protein very overcooked. I wouldn't write this unless i thought it was worse than instant noodles. It is. Warning for anyone expecting $20+ ramen quality

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. They had great service and once in a lifetime experience this is by far the best restaurant on the island. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

Abysmal portions, had to go to pollo hermanos for the entrée bc my $100 app wasn’t enough. Impressed it somehow took 45 minutes when we were the only people there, I guess those paper thin slices took a lot of effort.
