Yummy and very unhealthy. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Winston-Salem. The steamed dumplings are amazing. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
First time ordering food was hot plenty delicious and refreshing ! Highly recommend and will be my go to for lo mein! Food: 5 Service: 5
They don’t make their own crunchy noodles anymore. They are pre-fab skinny penne-looking pretzel-like noodles that taste like cardboard. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

For starters I went to the wrong location (do not recommend the one off MLK ) which was totally my fault . When I finally got to the correct location my food was ready, she told me everything was 32/34$ (don’t remember) she didn’t ring anything up and didn’t give me a receipt , she honestly could’ve charged me for more things and I wouldn’t had known . My chicken was tender and looked like actual chicken , my husbands chicken was questionable. The fried dumplings were really good especially with the dumpling sauce. Would I recommend this place to somebody, no. The food is expensive and nothing special , there are better and cheaper Chinese take out . Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

Very, very good food and good service. The food is always fresh and delicious. I’ve sampled a diverse selection of menu items and have not had any misses. I’ve never had to wait beyond my quoted time to receive my order. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Rice was great, but the fried chicken wings weren’t good tasted like rubber if I’m being honest. Maybe chicken isn’t there strong suit and I should get something different, I’ll be back just for something different Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Average food. Not bad but average. Disappointing that the fried rice was bare. No green onions, egg bits and or bean sprouts. The Mongolian beef was more like onion casserole with meat versus meat, green onions and rice noodles. I did not taste any hoison sauce. Price was fair. But I won't order again unless I want the Plainest Chinese version as here.
Some things never change (and that's a good thing in this case!). Mr. Lu's was my favorite take-out Chinese place when I was in high school and as a young adult and I recently visited again. Now that I'm in my late 30s, I wondered if maybe it was just nostalgia that made me remember Mr. Lu's was better than it actually was. However, that was not the case. I ordered (my old favorite) the sesame chicken with an egg roll and my meal was delicious! My food was hot, made quickly, and I was given a generous portion that filled me up (which is not easy to do). I'll re-crown Mr. Lu's as my favorite Chinese place in town. I just can't wait another 10 years to go back again! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10
Best Chinese takeout & delivery in town! If they had a sit down dining room, I would give them 5 stars. Everything is yummy. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
