Visiting Gatlinburg and needed a late night bite, so we stopped by Mountain Trail Grill & Pizza! It’s located inside a hotel and it’s a small spot, we parked right in front of the hotel and went in. When we arrived, it was 10 PM - they closed at 11. It was only one other couple dining there. Our waiter was so attentive and the pepperoni pizza was so GOOD and affordable! I should have gotten a video of that cheese pull! Definitely a great spot for a slice when you need one.

Amazing service, friendly faces, clean, and food was absolutely the best with fast service. Great price and will be coming back down here again tomorrow to try the pizza. We had fried pickles and chicken bacon fettuccine pasta so good.!!! Employee Mihaela was very helpful and did a great job.

We were staying at the Gatlinburg Square Inn right next to the location and the reviews looked good so we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed. It is located inside of a hotel so it's easy to miss. Jon was our server and he was great. I felt bad because he was working solo and doing everything on his own for all the tables while his co-workers stood at the register and socialized the whole meal. The pizza was amazing and so were the mozzarella sticks. Would return if we come back to town for sure.

Within few minutes our orders were served.. The pizza was so soft for a long time… The guy who served us was a newbie and he was great.. Also, Mr. John (Manager) is a very nice person… Great food, great staff.. we loved it!!!

Don't let the outside fool you. The best fried dill pickle spears ever! Cheese bread and pizza were better than expected. The waiter (Jon) and waitress were very kind with fast service. Don't pass on this hidden gem🍕

We found cauliflower crust pizza just 8 minutes walking from our hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the combo. That is the pizza in the photo. We went mid-week. One other couple was there.

Supreme Pizza
We arrived in G-burg after taking the scenic route from Nashville. We decided to not fight the crowds and traffic and ate dinner in the MountainsTrail Grill & Pizza inside our Glenstone Lodge hotel. Thales was a great server and our pizza was excellent. They know how to do a nice crust! The next 2 mornings my wife and I had the $12 breakfast buffet ($10 if you buy a ticket day(s) early). I told my wife the biscuit might be the best one I have ever had. Tonight my wife was under the weather so I had dinner - Philly cheesesteak hoagie, fries: curly & seasoned, and a YeeHaw Dunkel beer. They have a good beer selection for someone who likes dark beer! I had a Porter with my pizza and they have Guiness Draught bottles also. I recommend! Robert from Houston, Tx

Great microbrew with awesome food - the magic combination. Even craft root beer with salads, burgers, and pizza in a mountain lodge atmosphere.
The pizza was definately legit as was the Ceasar's salad, which didn't have a grilled chicken choice. That is because fried chicken, even tenders is better when done right in the south.
Affordable, casual, and did mention the vats of beer on the first floor? It's a don't miss.

This is not a real restaurant. Beers and drinks come from the lobby’s self service fridge. It’s basically an extension of the room service kitchen.
“Wait staff” are untrained kids, who are super sweet and friendly but have no idea what’s going on. Asked if there’s any beers on draft and it caused such confusion in our server he needed to get managerial help to tell him it’s just the bottles next to the Gatorade for sale. He then kindly offered a glass with ice for my beer. Poor kid had no idea and that is entirely the fault of his training for which I blame management… he really wanted to do his best but had no idea how.
Ordered a kids pizza which was a disappointing pre made round of bread and cheese toasted up which was sad looking (pictured). The supreme pizza was good enough though.
It’s not a terrible place to eat but definitely not a destination to go to on purpose. More like a compromise when you’re too tired to leave the hotel.
