The food is good enough but not the best bbq in Dollywood. We got two three little pigs sandwiches and a pig belly on a stick. Three two sandwiches were good but one definitely had more meat on it than the other and the pig belly on the stick was a lot smaller than the picture would have you think. Flavor: 5 stars, Execution: 3 I didn't understand "cafeteria style" when I walked in. What it means is everything comes in buffet-style chafing dishes, and is dishes up by the staff. A little reminiscent of Luby's, in Texas. Since the fried chicken was in a covered chafing dish, a lot of the crisp had died, but the (dark) meat was moist and the flavor was good. The pieces were small but I suspect any larger and they'd dry out. The mac and cheese was swimming in a sea of cheese, but the pasta looked to be cavatappi (couldn't quite tell under the cheese) which is the best pasta shape, and the cheese sauce was good. I fished out the noodles and counted them, because the sauce to noodle radio seemed wild and I had to know for sure. There were 11. If you like goopy, thick cheese sauce, you'll love this. And! The noodles weren't overcooked. Always a plus to be able to bite a noodle and get texture beyond squish. The corn was ...corn. The cornbread was a bit sweet and tasted more cake than cornmeal but I'm not about to tell a southerner how to make cornbread. It's one of the few options with covered seating, which is what pulled me in. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

It's never a pleasant experience when workers cannot understand English to know what you are trying to order. The corn on the cob was the worse I've ever had. The corn was covered in silk. This was not pleasant getting out of my teeth. The butter was ahhh, was that even butter? There was no flavor. I'm glad to know that I can cook corn better. Everyone there was super concerned, helpful, and accommodating of my safety concerning my gluten free needs. They went over every ingredient and label, checked in a million times to make sure I was comfortable with choices and how they handled things. Each person who handled anything that came to my tabled changed their gloves AND aprons and the chef carried it out to the table herself! A few of the hosts shared personal anecdotes about how serious they personally take allergies and food issues because of loved ones with issues themselves. I felt safe and cared for with every bite. And, it was all DELICIOUS TOO!
Worst food we've ever had at Dollywood. Was excited because it was featured in the pamphlet only to spend over $50 for some chewy fatty brisket. They were out of turkey legs and served the chicken and shrimp cold. Literally the worst $50 I've ever spent. Go anywhere else!
If you are looking for the best BBQ Pork Sandwhiches when visiting Dollywood look no further. There are 3 sandwiches to choose from a classic w/slaw, a golden w/ mustard based sauce, and a spicy w/jalapenos. They also have the best and biggest Turkey Legs I've ever seen!
Waited over an hour. Moved at a snails pace. Took breaks in between each order. I’d be embarrassed if this was my restaurant.
