The drinks here are high quality and the vibe of the cafe is chill, calm, and soothing. Staff are super nice and friendly.
WiFi is available, music taste is great, and the space is clean as well! I know I’m going to be a loyal customer here 🥰 awesome place for studying or hanging out with friends!
The owner emphasizes and promotes mental health in their website and the menu as you can see. I appreciate the effort she put in and the positive atmosphere she brought to this area!
Their menu really focused on coffee and tea with some dessert (including Adffogato) and light breakfast, so don’t expect to have heavy meal here. But you can tell each item on the menu is refined and amazing 😌

MIND is the coffee place to be in Berkeley. Perfect for both students and coffee lovers. Viviana and Aaron were great to be around. Good vibes all over! Can’t wait to go back!

The aura is lovely. The space is small and fills quickly so seating may not always be available.
Overtime I’ve made acquaintances by sharing a table which is nice. Overall, this is a lovely addition to the Northside area.

Across a couple weeks ordered a couple hot matcha lattes, iced lattes, hot latte, and a Einspanner. The product of all was good (aside from the espresso in the hot which was extremely floral and fruity for my taste) but the almond and oat milk were among the worse i’ve ever had. They ruined the drinks.
Additionally, they were out of almond milk on our first visit. They told my girlfriend this after she went to pickup her drink. They asked why not just get oat or soy (she is intolerant to soy and has insulin issues for the oat) casing her to have to say she was allergic which I thought was a bit odd to ask a customer.
There is also close to no seating, maybe 12-14 seats including outdoors.

Love Mind Coffee
The atmosphere is super cute. The coffee is fantastic. I haven't tried any macha drinks yet.
Love the Einspanner Espresso. I make time to come here whenever visiting Berkeley.
I will note that there is very little seating inside, so I would count on being able to sit inside, but there are some benches and tables outside.

Me and my boyfriend come here whenever we have a day off together — the coffee is delicious (we go for the hot cappuccino and the iced latte) and the service is really amazing. Everyone who works here is super helpful and the service is efficient. I haven’t tried the pastries yet but they look very high quality.

Decided to try out this new coffee shop on Saturday and I’m so glad I did!
The staff were very helpful and kind and the treats from Starter bakery were delicious.
I got a chocolate babka and a latte and the foam on the latte was not only beautiful but so good. I didn’t even know latte foam could be this good! The rest of the drink was equally exquisite and I will definitely be coming back.
I highly recommend Mind coffee!

We're obviously spoiled for choice for good coffee in Berkeley, but this is the best coffee near North Campus by far and I'm grateful for it.
