The food and house margaritas are so delicious and the waitstaff are very friendly. If we lived within walking distance we'd be there 4 or 5 days a week. Our first time here. Ahhh I don't want to be rude...but our experience here wasn't the best. Well the servers were great, it was more less the food. I was thinking it was authentic Mexican but it honestly taste more American. We won't be coming back here. But we did give this place a try. We stopped for lunch and found the place packed with diners. The service and food was excellent. We promptly served and even got treated with a Mother's Day dessert which was very delicious. This restaurant is all on one level and has plenty of good parking. I was with a group of seven and we were greeted quickly and brought chips, salsa and drinks. I had the shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans and is was pretty good but not sure if I would order it again. Everyone in our group seemed happy with their meals and several people in the group had never been here before. This was my first time here. The prices are between $9-$18 for entrees. The food did taste great, but it wasn't what I expected. The rice portion was smaller than other restaurants I've gone to. I ordered a burrito and enchilada combo. There was no difference between the burrito and enchilada. Even the server thought it was just enchiladas. The rice is Spanish rice not Mexican. The enchilada sauce was not spicy at all. The flour tortilla looked like the ones I buy at Walmart. Not a bad thing just an observation I made. All burritos just had meat in it and the same red sauce used for enchiladas. We are a family of 7 and was expecting to pay around $90+tip, but the total came out to $103 and that was literally all the money I had. The drinks alone came out to $25. That's an average of over $3 per drink. They don't have drinks on their menu, so I don't know what the price actually was for each. The food was delicious, but it wasn't what we were expecting. Staff was friendly. They only came by to take our orders and pick up plates. Had to ask for the check and they didn't offer to go boxes. Excellent food, friendly and welcoming wait staff. The Albondigas and Pozole are a great as well with very large portion sizes and quite filling. The carne asada street tacos were great as well. Busy place today. I sat outside on their patio. Grapevine covering the roof area gave the much needed shade. I had the fish tacos and a house margarita. Both were great. What was not so great was the service. The guy who was my waiter forgot about me. When I was done eating, I had to search him out to retrieve my ticket. He never came back to check on me to see if there was anything else that I wanted. I also have to say that their ladies' bathroom needed attention. My family stopped here several months ago and The food was great. So we decided to stop again and give it another chance. We once again were not disappointed. Good food and service was fantastic as it was before.

The food here is pretty authentic. I ordered the pozole my husband ordered the carne asada taco plate. The tacos were huge, not those west coast street tacos. My pozole was delicious as well, kinda hominy heavy but it was perfect for me. We ended up spending $61 with tip. Sounds like a lot but we also ordered the Bartender's Special which is made with Patrón in a pitcher ($30 buck) so I would say it was priced right. Good food, the waiter seemed to be in a hurry for us to go. Not sure why, place was practically empty. Asked for a to go cup for the ice tea, they didn't have any, just the lids.
