McDonald's is pretty near West End Historic District. This fast food is to be recommended for nicely cooked cheeseburgers and good fish fillet. Tasty biscuits deserve ordering. Visitors don't like frappes at McDonald's. Most people find that the staff is creative at this place. Satisfying service is something that guests would like to improve here. Prices are average for the quality you get. As many reviewers state, the atmosphere is comfortable. But this place is not highly estimated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

I stopped by here on my way to work on a Thursday evening because I needed a pick me up as I was sleepy and tired. I got a large iced caramel mocha via app at 5:48pm. There was an in-app deal for $1.50 off. I chose carry out as the drive thru line a little long. Once inside, it wasn’t ready when I went inside. While waiting, I noticed that they had a 99 sanitation score, which is pretty good. My coffee was ready at 5:52pm. I ordered it without whip cream but they added it anyway. I wanted to cut back a little on the calories and dairy but oh well lol. It was delicious. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10

This is by far, the best McDonalds in the area. The service is impressive. It’s a fast paced, hard working, High frustration part of town but you would never know it by the genuine smiles and happy accommodation of the employees. I’d love to know who is managing this location because it’s an impressive drive through experience. There isn’t that tense “I’m paid to be fake nice to you” thing. It’s actual pleasantry. Additionally, my order is consistently correct, hot, and fresh. It tastes like it’s intended to taste. They are not always fast BUT they don’t send you to park and be forgotten. The drive thru is always jumping but be patient, it will be worth it. I wish I had taken down the name of the employees who helped me today because I left a McDonald’s drive thru happy and excited to enjoy my breakfast. As you can tell by my photos. I'm a frequent customer of MD. I don't always use the app. So I have other orders too. Anyway on 11/4/23. At 5:58am at 36 degrees outside. I was heading to a gig job. I'm super hungry,I'm technically unemployed and homeless. I had 50 cent on me. I'm suppose to be paid $60-70 from the gig job this AM at the end of the job. Daily pay. I asked the manager for a sausage biscuit and I explained my situation and that I buy here a lot lot. Can I get a biscuit so I don't starve and have energy at this one day job. She says no and claims I've never spent at this location at all. Then she put me out in the cold. If I added up all the pennies I've told the cashier don't worry about it over the years. We're talking $20 in pennies alone. And they throw away so much food. You could have taken my change and gave me a long time customer a $2 sausage biscuit. What a cruel thing to do to someone who is broke and hungry and homeless, wow. Update 3/1/2024. The service is super slow here. They let one cashier ring up and run orders. It took nearly 25 minutes for me to get 2 sausage biscuits. And I ordered on the kiosk. This location is poorly coordinated, and the same rude manager was running the show. Ms. Ang. I'll call her. I come to the McDonald’s often and it’s not the best but usually it’s not the worst. Today was different, the staff was very unprofessional and having side conversations (not about work) while handling food through the window. I order two medium sweet teas, medium fries, and a coke slushy. I’m highly upset because as I was about to put my straw in the tea I look and see a ketchup pack at the bottom of my drink. I had to get a full refund because this mistake shows nothing but complete carelessness. I could never trust eating from here again. This is absolutely unacceptable!! Nice looking McDonald’s, but quite possibly and slowest you can find. They really take the fast out of fast food. The restaurant was very nice. It was clean, airy and updated. In fact, it felt quite new. The service, however, was abysmal. I went in for coffee and waited 10 minutes after paying. I know what you’re thinking, but nope, the coffee was already made, just sitting there waiting to be poured. The amusing part is that I’m the restaurant wasn’t even busy —you can see in the photos it was empty. The staff were friendly enough, though the area couldn’t have been more sketchy. I went inside and was skeptical on leaving my car outside —and it’s not a fancy car. I think you get the idea. Typical McDonald’s prices, and food. The experience was just terrible, and certainly would go back or recommend. Just don’t do it too yourself.

This location has got to get better. My husband and I went on 6/2/23. I ordered a Big Mac meal and got a Quarter Pounder with cheese meal. 6/3/23, my husband and grandson go and paid for a 6 piece nuggets and got 4. I use to work at this location and this is precisely why I quit. Front cashier's were blamed for drive thru mistakes. Come on people. Management needs to get team members together. I made the mistake of place that I ordered mobile and realized when got to the restaurant I wanted pick up at. Called this store and Justin who answered the phone say he could not refund my card. Then he hung up. Called back and he didn’t even speak and hung up. Called back 3 times can after a minute he hung up on me again. Service: 1
