This is such a cosy restaurant, a really nice experience. The waiters are genuinly friendly. The food is pure and there's a lot to choose from. The only thing I would change is the variety of white wines. The two of us tried all three of the wines and two of them are similar.

The food tastes amazing! Unique flavors combined with fresh food makes it delicious. The atmosphere is very chill with smooth lighting and relaxing music. Seating is spacious so private and still cozy. Highly recommend for lovers of taste

Delicious food and excellent service. The food is genuinely Spanish with some fantastic modern touches. Nothing can normally beat jamón ibérico, but the cecina genuinely did. A delicious smoky flavour with smoky toasted chapata. And all washed down with their own brewed beer. All three flavours are wonderful and each was better than the last. So, amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service. And all in a beautifully decorated cozy little gastrobar. Definitely repeating.
PS. Repeated. Second visit even better than the first. Recommendations from the 2nd visit, the smoky mackerel pate is divine. And the juicy beef short rib, fall off the bone tender, with a slightly sweet hazelnut sauce, a creamy potato puree and a tangy pickled onion on top is absolutely to die for. Really a great choice.

The best restaurant in Harderwijk! Came here as a group of 6 and ordered different dishes to share. The food was absolutely delicious and healthy, and I discovered new tastes that I had never experienced in my life. The environment is fantastic, pretty calm and relaxing! The staff is super nice and friendly!

I highly recommend Matamata Gastrobar! Delicious food and hospitable staff. Excellent service with personality. The chef makes a heavenly Spanish tortilla. It’s like a golden silk pillowcase stuffed with light, velvety potatoes. Rich in flavor and juicy. The topping with sweet and sour tomatoes in combination with the black aioli made it visually striking! It makes you wish you could have eggs like this every day. I’m coming back for more!

We went on the 25. December and enjoyed their 7 course Christmas menu. It was a very good variety of dishes including the starter, different meats dishes, fish, seafood rice and desert with coffee. All courses were delicious and it was a good price. The service was excellent and we had such a fun night.
