Great food, good portions, good prices. Doesn't happen often in Norway. I like that they use a dagens meny, short menu but clearly fresh and made to order. Everything we had was legitimately delicious. Well spiced lamb and chicken, fresh salads, good tzaziki. The apple cake was fluffy and fresh, super happy with it all. Service was lovely, felt they took covid seriously as well.

The food was perfectly seasoned, each portion was worth the price and not so expensive too. We were 4 persons for celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. All of us were satisfied with the food, even our 9 year old son who is always difficult to find menu for him. Mandalsstua is The best restaurant in Mandal. Grill Mix, dear steak, Grill chicken breast recommended 👌 😘 #iMandal

We love Greek food, and have lived close to Mandal for years, never imagining "Mandalsstua" could be a Greek restaurant - color me surprised, this was authentic tasting Greek food! Not too many choices on the menu, well stocked drink selection and nice service - perhaps a tiny bit on the expensive side, but portion size was good so that evens out. Cosy place, tasty and well prepared food. Menu list is somewhat limited, but that is not unusual with other Norwegian restaurants as well. Will go back anytime. 😊

Just Me

Delicious, inexpensive greek food. However, this resturant does not get 5 stars because it is really unreliable. We drove to this resturant for over an hour. Google and their most recent Facebook post containing opening hours said it would be open. The door was locked. We waited outside the resturant for an hour, trying to contact them via Facebook and calling them. No response. They could at least have left a note on the door..
