Delicious food! Was definitely worth the road trip for me! I drove to Winston-Salem specifically to try this restaurant and I was not disappointed. We walked in around 11am on Saturday and the place was packed however we were immediately seated. Already I had a good feeling to see the restaurant so busy on a Saturday morning. Not to mention the smell of cooking chicken from outside, it wasn't hard to follow my nose. We started with cheese sticks because why not? Cheesy perfection. Then we got the gyro plate, the bruschetta Flatbread, and the savannah fried chicken. Everything, and I mean everything, was amazing! I wanted to try so much more but I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all. We finished off with an apple cobbler, do not miss out on this dish! Delicious! Very nice establishment. From the moment I walked in, although they were busy I was still greeted by a gentleman and lady that was behind the register. I was seated quickly andy server Zion was very pleasant and helpful. The menu offers man options from breakfast, appetizers, lunch, and dinner. A very versatile menu with a variety of types of food. I had the marinated beef with sweet waffle fries and banana pudding. I recommend checking this place out. Everything and I mean everything we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious. No complaints here. The service was great also. The omelette I had(can’t remember name) but I should have order one Togo. The chicken and the fluffy waffle. Yes yes yes. And the grits were already seasoned. Everything cooked to perfection. The BEST chopped sirloin steak! The BEST brown gravy. The BEST customer service. Our waitress yesterday really remembered when I asked her to get me a to-go sweet tea after our meal and she was on point. ❤️ I wish I remembered her name but she was black, long haired, petite. She was a great waitress and very attentive. I’m leaving this review because I work in retail and recognizing work like this means a lot. God bless y’all! Really nice spot for breakfast! Stopped in with family (heard it was good we got there before local churches let out haha). Service was fairly quick and polite. The food was good and I enjoyed the decor also. You do take your check to the front to pay at the end just as an fyi - I didn't realize that and sat at the table for a while first. I love Mama Zoe's, this is my favorite family restaurant of all times. I would like to share the professionalism and welcoming environment this establishment holds. On my last visit, I took my daughter, mom, and uncle out for lunch. Everything was ordered, I requested no gravy, and that was not done correctly. I was fine with scrapping it off. The lead saw me and asked if that was what I ordered. I explained no, but it was ok. No questions asked. He went in the back and had my order done correctly. That is great customer service, and it was truly appreciated. Thank you, young man, with the beautiful hazel green eyes. Just had lunch. Had heard good things about it, but was hugely disappointed. Service was great, and decor cute. Huge menu. Ordered: a side salad, turkey w/ dressing, mashed sweet potatoes, fried squash, a dinner roll, and tea. Tea was fresh, and the salad was large and crisp. Turkey was rather bland, but moist and tender. The rest, well, not so good. Most everything but the stuffing had no salt. Burnt stove top stuffing, whipped canned candied yams, couldn't figure out what type of overfried squash was served, cibatta roll was so tough, I had to use strength to tear it in two. A few bites was enough to convince me that I wasn't that hungry after all. The wait staff was pleasant, and notified the manager, who comped my meal, which I told them wasn't necessary, but they did. Immediate seating at 9 o'clock on a Sunday morning, service was fast! The food was amazing, best breakfast food I've had in a restaurant in my memory. I ordered the chorizo omelet with home fries and biscuit. My husband had the chicken and waffles. Everything was well seasoned, even the home fries. I loved the cute, modern dinner feeling. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere pleasant. I liked the glass enclosed kitchen area, visible but not intrusive. Would recommend, will return. 4 out of 5 stars. Good food. But owners, please switch to homemade mashed potatoes. The only thing on my plate that was bland were the mashed potatoes. Also, please switch to fresh cut fries. The frozen battered ones are not as good. Everything else was great. The staff were amazing. Perfect place for family.
