I brought my out of town guests here on a Sat night. We had a late dinner and upon walking into the restaurant was not impressed with the cashier or hostess. Their conversation with one another was more important than the customers in front of them. Our waiter Josè was phenomenal. He had great recommendations and was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. We were impressed with the food and prices. For that reason I would recommend. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Late night meal at Lucky Penny. Great experience. Enjoyed a chicken quesadilla and ‘American’ breakfast combination and coffee. Our food was great - prepared just right, served hot, coffee was very good, served with plenty of creamer. Our server was attentive, responsive, friendly. Enjoyable atmosphere and outstanding dessert display. Our server reports Green Valley Ranch has a pastry chef. Based on desserts on display he or she is skilled and creative. Good air quality in the dining area in spite of being near a gaming area where smoking is permitted. The ‘Lucky Penny’ is a spacious restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of seating. Took a while before the food came but it’s good food and the waitress who brings the food out are apologetic. We enjoyed the brunch. Update February 2024 Just had to drop by for their pastries, desserts and coffee- Raspberry Macaron is delicious 👌

The food tasted great and was well seasoned. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. The fresh squeezed orange juice although a little pricey was vey good. The dining area was clean and well kept. Our server Arturo was pleasant and exhibited good customer service. He ensured our water glasses remained full throughout our meal and was available for any requests. He also took a little time to chat with us which, was appreciated. Food is amazing, from appetizers to desserts & pastries. I've not have everything on the menu but I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. My go to favorite is the Seafood Chowder. We have been dining in this restaurant for years, before the name change. The menu has changed a few times and we are totally enjoying the different items that are now present at the Lucky Penny. There are great appetizers And the soups are homemade. The salads are awesome and the breakfast items are different and extremely tasty. The dinner selection for a smaller place like this, is very enjoyable and anybody can find something to choose from their menu, even a Vegetarian like me. The portions are a great size if you want to share and the prices Are very reasonable and = the current market that is out there.
