If you're looking for a spot with great vibes and even better food, the Lounging Lizard is the place to be. As someone with gluten sensitivity, I appreciate the variety of gluten-free options available here. But fair warning: when they say spicy, they mean it! The atmosphere is laid-back and lively, with good vibes all around. The wait staff here are not only well-informed but also have fiery good temperaments, adding to the enjoyable dining experience. Now, onto the main event – the food. I opted for the spicy pulled pork sandwich on a gluten-free bun, and it was a flavor explosion! Sweet, spicy, and absolutely delicious. And let's not forget about the fries – made in-house and bursting with flavor, they're a must-try. But what really stole the show for me was the spiced house-made ranch. Creamy, tangy, with just the right amount of kick – it's a solid 9/10 in my book. Overall, the Lounging Lizard is a gem of a restaurant with fantastic food, a chill atmosphere, and friendly staff. Whether you're gluten-free or not, this place is definitely worth a visit. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fries

Love this place. Go there often. I usually have the country fried chicken and mashed potatoes with extra gravy. I've had the pizza before and love it. Bloody Marys are great. Service is always great. Atmosphere is cozy and casual. I love when they play 80s music. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Local and family owned kitchen provided an excellent dining experience. The staff were super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! There is a great selection of menu items and I wish I could have tried more. The Elk Shepard's pie, Frito pie, and Caesar salad were all on point! Portions are pretty big and you can also order half sizes for things. With all that, make sure you save room for the cobbler!!! The Brussel sprouts are worth the trip alone. They are like candy. Crispy, sweet, savory….yum. We also had a delicious thin crust green chili and pulled pork pizza (absolutely loaded with pork!) and the chicken chili tacos with a very spicy house salad. Service was excellent, portions were big but we saved room for bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream. I wish I lived closer because I would be a regular! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Overall, this place is fine, but nothing exceptional. I ordered the blackened chicken rigatoni, and it was ok. The noodles weren't that hot or flavorful, but the chicken had plenty of spice to it. My friend had the blackened chicken sandwich and her French fries weren't very warm either. I would really encourage the restaurant to print some menus - they only have a menu on the wall and it doesn't have any description of the items listed. It's hard to know what to get when you don't know what what comes with the meal. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Jermaine was our server. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He described the special drinks for me and I selected one that he recommended. The blood orange was delicious. We also had the blackened shrimp and wings which were excellent. Sadly, I didn’t remember to take a picture of those but you can see the pictures of our drinks. absolutely recommend this restaurant! One last thing, check out this soap dispenser in the ladies room. How creative using a Titos bottle. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If you want to experience some true Coloradan food and hospitality, this is the place for you! I personally tried the green chili cheddar beef burger (perfect for those wanting an extra bit of heat on their sandwich), and the savory white chicken chili cheese fries. You might have to resort to only trying one or the other though because the portions are pretty big! Nice decor, expansive menu options, and friendly waitress who made sure our visit went smoothly. Stopped in for a later dinner on a recent trip to the area. It was a pretty busy place, but the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a very interesting menu, lots of options, and allergies and dietary restrictions are very clearly marked on their menu, which I really appreciated! There were some unique and tasty cocktails. The smoked mushrooms on their pizza was one of the best things I have ever eaten. I had never thought about smoked mushrooms before, but I definitely have since. Such a creative menu, we will certainly eat here again when we are in the area.
