Not the best Mexican joint in town but a heck of a lot better than Taco Bell. Seems like a homeless guy has set up a spot right next to the entrance of this place so keep your car doors locked.

I just moved to Mesa about one mile from this gem - For sure some of the most truly authentic Mexican food in Mesa - they could use a really good remodel or maybe paint and flooring but look past it folks , trust me - if in Mesa head on over here ! Los Favoritos never disappoints. I love Mexican food and have it almost daily, no one beats their quality, portion amount and great taste. Their red hot sauce is the best I have ever had. Was about to eat there just now until I pulled up to the establishment and the cashier was shaking out the front doormat, bare hands. She directly proceeded from shaking it out to refilling the hot sauce containers, same bare hands, no hand cleanse. Had to walk away at that point. Yummy for the tummy!!!! Excellent Carnitas burrito. It was cooked perfectly, the cook made my carnitas a lil crispy, loved it. Carne Asada burrito was on point too. Sides of rice and beans were great and piping hot after a 19 mile drive home! Great employees, great food!!!!
