Knowing this place got crowded early, we went there 7:30 and were able to get a table right before the queue.
Staff were all friendly like family. Had a cozy delicious hot breakfast with refillable coffee. Everything felt right, best way to start our day.
Attentive service, good food reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

I recently discovered the Log Cabin Pancake House, and it's truly a hidden gem off the beaten tourist path. One of the first things I appreciated was the abundance of free parking, a rare find in this area. It set a positive tone for the visit right from the start.
Inside, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a charming rustic vibe that perfectly complements a pancake house. It felt cozy and inviting, a lovely escape from the usual hustle and bustle.
The service at Log Cabin Pancake House was remarkably efficient. Despite the crowd, the staff was prompt, attentive, and always with a smile. They ensured our experience was seamless and enjoyable.
As for the food, it was absolutely delightful. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, clearly made from scratch with care. But it wasn’t just the pancakes that impressed me – the entire menu was full of hearty, satisfying options, all prepared to perfection.
Log Cabin Pancake House is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking great food, efficient service, and a wonderful atmosphere away from the typical tourist spots. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return for another meal!

The food was good. Country ham was delicious. The syrup was really runny. I prefer mine thicker. Husband had sausage gravy, eggs, sausage & biscuits. He says it was just alright. He also said the bathroom stall was set up weird.

We always eat here every trip, and have fir years. This trip, we have eaten here twice. The food is great, but our waitress, Kris, is phenomenal. You can tell she loves her job and she is such a light. She is so warm, welcoming, and friendly and we will ALWAYS ask for her when we come back.
As much as we love the food, we came back for the 2nd time this trip just to have Kris again because we knew we wpuld be well taken care of. She truly goes above and beyond and we didn't have to ask for anything. She just knew what we needed. She even remembered our drink orders from the day before. I truly hope Log Cabin knows what a wonderful and special person she is and how fortunate they are to have her as a waitress. I told the manager, but I wanted to share here for others to read, how great Kris is. when you go, please support her, and all the other excellent staff at Log Cabin.

Food was great, service was terrible. We were sat 45 mins before they closed. Usually we don’t enter a restaurant less than hour before they close but we knew we could and wanted to be in and out. It took 15 mins to be greeted by any server and it wasn’t even our assigned server. She got our drinks and sent our server over couple mins later, we ordered right away and our food was out in the next 5-10 mins. It was great and we got to eating quickly and even asked for the check as food was dropped so we could exit quickly when finished. 1:40, 20 mins before they close, they turn the off the lights on us, turn off fireplace, turn off Christmas lights. Curly Blonde women who sat us, maybe hostess or couldn’t imagine but maybe the manager mean mugged us all the way back to the front after doing so.
At that point, not being able to see our remaining food to finish and feeling completely punished for being patrons we ask for boxes. Our server and the one who first helped us were kind, but all the other servers, hostess included were rude as ever and gave horrible looks.
There are so many other pancake houses around and this one does have potential. Food was outstanding but highly lacking in “late night focus”by the front of house team.
We absolutely would have been done in the next 5-8 mins prior to lights being turned off and my review would have been 5 stars.
We would have also understood if they told us at 1:10 when we entered that they couldn’t serve us because they close at 2.
I will not be recommending this place nor spending my Gatlinburg dollars here again.

We had a good experience on our first visit. The line was long when we arrived (back to the steps), but it was moving pretty quickly. Our service was very friendly and helpful. The food itself was good but not great. The French Toast was the highlight for us.

We stood in the cold for 50 minutes just to get inside and be seated. Oh wait, I have a video of the queue. It's a big restaurant, so the line moves pretty quickly lol even for 50 minutes. We went to this place because it was right behind our hotel, Marriott. My friend and I were super hungry. Got seated. It took another 20 plus minutes to place our order. Once the order goes in, it comes out pretty quickly, I believe. We tried the French toast, omelet, and steak biscuit. Meh! I wasn't impressed. The portion sizes are pretty big. The hot chocolate was the best part about my experience. This place is overhyped. That was my experience. Yours just might be better.
