Shawarma is delicious. One of the best places to dine in or for takeout on Simpson Bay. Very reasonable price yet delicious food. I opted for the "The Famous". It was packed full of protein. Tasty, delicious, satisfying and enjoyable. The atmosphere is relaxing & calm. Customer service is excellent. Unusually nice place in an unexpected spot! Went here based on food-related reviews and was not disappointed. I had The Famousl wrap (chicken and lamb with some kind of nice melty cheese in it) and my partner the falafel and was pleasantly surprised by how light and crispy the falafel was and how spicy, tasty and generously proportioned the wrap was. The owner is a real character and welcomed a number of local regulars while we were there enjoying our time. Will definitely come again to try something else. I loved this place, the price is very affordable, and hands down the best shawarma on the island. I also really liked the owner, he's friendly and chipper. A man that cares a lot about his food quality. We got The Special and The Famous. If you like spicy and curry, try The Famous. If you love smoked gooey Gouda cheese, get The Special. I thought they were both so good, we went back 3 times during our 1 week stay on the island. Also doubles as an excellent hang over cure, will soak up all that toxicity swimming in your body. Do not skip this spot!

Great spot to stop in for. It is open air seating and has a great view of the strip. The owner is an awesome person, very personable. The food is amazing. The special plate and famous plate are extremely tasty. They also have a great selection of vegetarian plates too.

I started going to Little Jerusalem in 2012. The food has always been great. I especially enjoyed their lamb burgers and shawarmas. The restaurant has seen many aesthetic upgrades over the years but the food has stayed great and I still dine there on a regular basis.

This is our 10th time back to St Maarten, the last time being January of 2017. We were excited to see that Little Jerusalem survived the hurricane. Without a doubt some of the best flavored food on the island. The menu is not large, but the shwarma’s are absolutely the best. The price he charges makes you feel guilty for the quality and value. Food doesn’t get any better than this. DO NOT let the container truck scare you. We had the Special and The Famous. Plenty left over for lunch the next day.
