The service is very slow, the people in the kitchen are very slow for everything, I was 30 minutes in the line and most of the customer carry only ice cream and the wait is too much. They should improve that service. Prices and portions are reasonable. but I didn't see a menu, just buy ice cream.

It was my first time going to La Michoacana, wow best believe I'll be coming back. I totally forgot the lady that helped us name, oh my. Well either way she was very welcoming, had a great attitude I enjoyed how well she attended us.

Of the 72 Michoacanas in the greater Escondido area, this one is our fave. They almost always have the Queso Fresco ice cream that my one kid loves, in addition to a great variety of other flavors - both with and without Dairy (for us sad lactose intolerant individuals). Every time we go in there's like a hundred people in like (exaggeration) but hey- its so cal. Its hot. EVERYONE wants this ice cream! Its great! In spite of this, they generally get us taken care of pretty quickly. They are really patient with my bad Spanish too. They just run out of the best flavors a lot is all T_T (not to worry, there's more to choose from)

This place is the best ice cream, tostilocos, aquas, and more the other places try but don’t meet up to the best quality of this place!!! If you wanna go enjoy your trip go here and bring your kids along to it they’ll love it!!!!!

First thing to note, I ordered a cookies and cream ice cream. Unlike other places I’ve been, instead of actual cookies, it seemed like they used a cake mixture. I absolutely LOVED it. It was delicious! However, I can’t say the same for the person who helped me. I believed that she had some friends that popped by and ordered from the place. That’s all fine and good, but when one of the friends addressed that there were people waiting, rather than acknowledge, she kinda just blew it off? She kept on talking to her friends. I’m not one to write negative reviews, but this really left a bad impression to me. She had reddish, brown hair and was wearing a black hoodie or shirt, from the best of my memory. I didn’t get her name. I don’t expect service from an ice cream shop as I would from a restaurant, but some common courtesy gets you far. I hope this doesn’t continue, because the ice cream was good, but the way that I was ignored makes me not want to come here at all

The gentleman was very helpful on helping me decide what to buy! He knew exactly what to offer me when I said I wanted something crunchy and tasty. Also they are very quick on preparing. I’ll go back again!!

Bad and very slow service the line was literally out the door and we asked before we started waiting if they still had elotes she said yes after 20 minutes of waiting! We finally get called up and ask for 2 elotes the same lady told us they didn't have any left like wow seriously we just asked you she said yeah other people order too she was very rude about it horrible service.

I wish I could give 0 stars! Guys, don’t waste on your money on a place where there are only females whom are selective of the customers they want to treat right. I am wondering how they even stay in business when none of the workers know basic customer service skills. For anyone wanting some delicious ice cream I would suggest going the extra mile and trying out other ice cream locations such as: LA MICHOACANA in San Marcos or even gelato by Grand Ave in Escondido! Their service is stellar and prices are amazing! Places like these don’t deserve to stay open!

The paletas, ice cream and fruits are always fresh. I'm happy they've expanded La Michoacana out of Mexico. Since I was a kid La Michoacana was always my favorite paletria.

First time here. Ordered fresas con crema. Tastes delicious. A little pricey, but delicious.
