Good lunch option for a low price. La Fonda by Sazón is an across-the-sidewalk place that specializes in lunch. One of the many in Ponce. They usually cycle between a few different meals per week, and they always post the menu in social media. The food itself is pretty good. The chicken tasted fresh and they give you a lot. Good prices too. Not many places where you can eat for as little as $8 or less. Service is decent. Call 10-15 minutes before pickup and they'll have it for you. Overall, a good lunch place option that is generally way better than any fast food nearby. 4.5/5 ⭐️ Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Albondigas Homemade Con Arroz Y Tostones

Thought this was a breakfast place based on the previous reviews but the SaZóN at this Ponce location was actually a lunch spot! Was told that there were other locations but still enjoyed having lunch here for a very reasonable price! My friend and I ordered the grilled chicken lunch and the rice & beans had small chunks of fried plantains (maduros) which was a nice surprise.
Great tasting Puertorrican criolla food. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Pro: Great sangrias, cozy place, nice ambiance. Con: Non attentive waitress, 1 hr for a plate with an empty restaurant, dirty table. Literally, no other customers in the restaurant and the order took exactly 1 hr to be served. 1 hr to be served hamburger Sliders and curly fries. There's no excuse for the poor service. Was warned by friends of the bad reputation of this local place, but wanted to see for myself. Sadly, will not return and would not recommend anybody from going.

Good food, awesome coffee. Bien rico!!!
Cute place, nice ambience. Food was slow coming, out of 5 people, 3 were served way ahead of the other 2 and pancakes were so dry, as well as the eggs, so dissapointed, I didn't hate the place, but is pricey. Out of five of us only one person liked her food.Server was nice, but after bringing our food, he never came back to check on us. No salt or pepper at the table, and it took a while to get the sugar, puertorican coffee was excellent.

This place could use a bigger establishment with a parking lot because the food js absolutely remarkable. The prices are moderate and the food is creatively delicious. They also make a good coffee and have tasty desserts. The food feels very healthy and not greasy, which is awesome too. I love their food!

It's great for having drinks, but horrible for food service. I've been twice and our food order takes more than an hour. Your best bet is to drink here and eat at Puebla next door.
Good food, more than acceptable wait times, and food that is always fresh. Service is always top notch. For these reasons and tons more, I usually visit it every weekend, and will keep visiting it for some time!
The food presentation is beautiful and the taste is excellent! It's very quiet and a nice place to go on a date.
