I love this place. Being from the west coast, it is hard to find a good Mexican restaurant here. This place is a really close substitute for what I have been missing since my move to NC. The staff is fantastic, the food is awesome, and experience is memorable. Even my "hates everything" father visited here with me once and had plenty of compliments for the place. Highly recommend! I've lived in 8 different states across the U.S and this was hands down the greatest authentic Mexican food I've ever had. If I could give it a higher score I would. Service was fantastic. We dropped in while traveling back on Oct 13th, 2023. The food was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I love the food, but I don’t really care about that. The employees were very friendly and let us choose a seat. Of course, I sat in the booth. This restaurant has a great atmosphere! Also, I’m quite surprised they had paper straws!

I looked through the menu and ordered the tastiest menu item I could find. I decided to get the Carne Asada tacos and they came in a set of three. I also decided to get an appetizer dip and they gave me the option of two appetizer dips, either queso or guacamole. I decided to take the order home which took about 10 minutes to finish cooking. When I went home I was a little bit disappointed when I opened the container and saw that the tortilla wraps of the tacos were extremely dense yet also soft. The meat of the Carne Asada was also very tough and not as flavorful as expected. However the guacamole dip was fantastic. The guacamole was tangy yet also retained the classic avocado flavors. They also give complementary chips and salsa. The chips were high-quality tortilla chips but I wasn’t a fan of the salsas. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

The food was decent. My issue is the fact that I was charged a fee for ordering to go. I placed the order for dinner for my family & picked it up myself. It’s the first time I’ve ordered from them & was not informed of the extra charge when I placed the order. It’s 50¢ per item ordered. We paid $4.00 in that fee. When I questioned the extra cost (when I picked up my order), I was told it’s a fee for to go orders & shown the to-go menu. However, the menu says it’s a delivery fee. I can understand a base delivery charge but this was a pick up order. I don’t understand charging a fee for a to-go order…especially during a pandemic when there are people don’t want to eat inside a restaurant.
