First time trying boba! Ask the staff for suggestions they told me the kung fu milk tea was the most popular. So I went for it! It wasn't bad it have a fresh taste. I couldn't get used to the texture of the boba bubbles. We also tried the mango lemonade with strawberry jelly. The viscous texture of the jelly is different and worth trying! Usually love Kung Fu and their drinks, especially this specific joint, but this place is not what it used to be. There is nothing wrong with high school students working in these shops. However, no matter the age, untrained and inexperienced people should not serve local customers. Came into town after a long vacation and wanted to try some boba, but the 3 students working there talked more amongst themselves than to their customers trying to order food. We ordered 2 large Pearl Milk Teas and were the only customers at the time. The boba balls were so hard and under made, we could not chew or digest them properly. My drink itself was fine, but the other cup had no sugar or flavor. Please consider the students working on 11/20/23 around 4:45 PM and their preparation of food. Thanks. Ordered two bubble teas with no one else in line. After waiting 20 minutes hear them tell a customer after me that they ran out of boba and are waiting on more to cook and that it will be another 10 minutes. The people working really didn't tell me my drinks would take over 30 minutes and just left me waiting. Took a refund and left with no bubble tea after spending around 25 minutes in the store. The store was very busy today and there was a young, tall man working alone doing his best by himself. While I’m waiting for my order an a co worker came in (young Asian man) and was completely horrible towards this young man that was working alone. He was barking orders at him like the guy hadn’t been holding down the place on his own before he got there. It was very unpleasant. I appreciate the tall, young man for his patience and kindness. The other dude needs to take a chill pill. Drinks were good.

The staff are SO friendly! They are very outgoing and make the drinks speedy fast! There’s these really cute two girls, I think their names were Sue and Olivia, and they were so nice and gave me very good recommendations!! My husband and I come in here a lot since summer started. The drinks are tasty, the boba is fantastic, the workers are super friendly, and they're fast. The location is also clean. So I recommend coming here, it's a good place for drinks!🧋 However my biggest complaint is that they're consistently very stingy with the milk cap at this location. Even when you ask for it thick, or extra or double (and pay extra) the milk cap is almost always meager. Not sure if this is because of management or if they just don't make enough to serve a lot, but for comparison, I have a picture of a milk cap from this location and from the Louisiana St. location. (The Bellaire location serves their milk cap similar to the Louisiana one, it's also very thick, especially when you say extra.) and often the drinks here aren't filled to the top. Like I said, I suspect it's a management-being-frugal kind of thing, but it's a bummer to an otherwise great place.

I placed a pick up order in the app and I get all the way there wait for 10min while the employee talking to someone and then she tells me they are out of matcha (their seasonal promo) They have been out of matcha for over 2 weeks. This is the second time this has happened to me this month. And when I asked to be refunded she only refunded me 3$ the drink I ordered is 6$ and when I asked she couldn’t give me a straight answer as to why bc she doesn’t know the app. All while she is texting on her phone while I’m trying to talk to her.
