One of the best steaks I have eaten in a long while! Could definitely recommend going there. Steer clear of the wine though, I did not like it. On the contrary, I did enjoy the atmosphere. Good food, good service, and location is pleasant. It's spacious and cozy at the same time. Staff is very attentive and quick. Prices are very decent. Best steak I’ve had in the Netherlands so far. Ordered the tomahawk steak and it was cooked to perfection. The sides were a bit of a let down. The fries were cold and unseasoned. The coleslaw was just ok and the chimmichuri could have also used some seasoning as well. The steak tartare was also a good starter. Service was good and also it was my first time having a good aperol spritz in the Netherlands. Will definitely come back!

Cozy place, right on the canal. Great beer selection on tap, also special unfiltered micro brews. Chese cake is weird, mixed with orange, I guess an acquired taste. Fast friendly service, but no english menu, the staff are happy to translate though, they speak excellent English.

Used to be my favourite spot in Alphen. And still: best food in town and great personal service. Really! But after a full evening of good food, spending on a 3 course meal, drinks and bottles... a shot on the house was to much to ask for. What started as fun when paying the bill turned out to be the partybreaker of the evening. No kudos for the management, sorry to say. Think we need to focus different for an evening of fun
