They have good quality sushi and tight rolls with experienced chefs. However, they under portion and over price BUT costs are rising so I understand. My 8 piece sushi roll was smaller than bite size and over $2 per bite. I still love that we have the opportunity to enjoy great quality. Food: 4 Service: 2

I love this place. We're fairly new to the area and this place does not disappoint. The Seattle Roll is my favorite and is SO good, have had the salmon teriyaki, yakisoba and all delicious. Walking in the restaurant was smaller than expected from the outside but didn’t let that dissuade us from taking a seat. There are about 10-12 tables total in this restaurant. We sat in a booth and the ambient noise was a good/acceptable level for dinner time. They do get busy so a reservation would be recommended if you have your heart set on the place or during a busy season/holiday. The menus were beautiful and looked well maintained. Well positioned photos of their foods/dishes. Environment was clean and well maintained. Settings were clean and tables quickly cleaned/dishes taken away. The quality and portions are what you’d expect for the price. All of the food was amazing and delicious. We tried several items (as seen below) and nothing disappointed. Some of the pictures are missing the full presentation because we started eating before remembering we didn’t get the picture. ☺️ I personally can judge a sushi place by how their yellowtail tastes. Here it was soft, buttery(melts in your mouth) and thicker slices cut for the sashimi. It was fresh and not fishy which says a lot of quality of the fish but also how well they store it and keep it. Each of the sushi rolls before we devoured them were well made and stood up to chop stick fumbling by our group. If you want good quality sushi with friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere, and have a hunger for something delicious, stop in here for a wonderful experience. Great food. More than I could finish. A bit shy on the Wasabi that I kept asking for and never received so minus one star. Prices were decent. Allegedly wifi went down so had to pay cash.

We only get to The Dalles 3 to 4 times a year but I make it a point to stop by and have some of the best sushi in the region. Always friendly and the chefs are informative and friendly. Thanks for the great service!

I have been in The Dalles for two weeks and this is the best place to eat in town. It’s a typical quick sushi joint. And some good vegetarian options. Spicy California roll and vegetable hibachi are my go to options.

Came here a few times during my trip, the first time I visited between lunch and dinner so I was the only customer, and during that time the staff was extremely attentive and my sushi had tasty, thick cuts of fish.
