I love this grocery store and I love how walkable it is to the apartment complex. My advice is to take the back roads.. I would come here for decently priced foods and great service almost every single employee has a fantastic attitude and smiles while they work. I was expecting Denver to be extremely expensive, but shopping at this grocery store was within the budget. They even have a discount section. I would come here for fresh sushi, baked goods, deli items, and Starbucks, even though that really isn’t my jam if you’ve never been to King Soopers before it is basically a Kroger. I grew up in East Tennessee and that’s what we had and I feel the same vibe at this location all the way in Denver. Be kind to the people that work here. Horrible customer service, Produce not ringing up correctly. Young lady working self check out was poorly trained, and had a bad attitude to the point of being abusive. Do yourself and the world of favor if you don’t like people and hate your job, quit and get a job where you have no interaction with the public.

Feb 2023: No longer has the good deals NO $1 donuts. NO $1 yogurt. No $1 discount bread shelf. Like any other grocery store now. :-( Best grocery store in town for bargain shoppers. This location is also a large supermarket with all the options one would expect. Quality and service is solid, but what makes this a 5-star place is the amazing marked down items. For example, a dozen donuts are regularly $1 and they taste fresh. Check out the front right sale sheft and walk around the store looking for the mark-down sticker on products. The reduced prices are give away prices and the quality of food is still high.

I like this store for it's location, super close to my house but ... Often the advertised price is not what rings up. Example: I paid $2.49 for French Bread that said $2.00 on the shelf. I was charged for red garnet yams at $1.89 per lb instead of $.77 per lb sweet potatoes. I was charged for jumbo sweet onions instead of medium yellow onions. The shelf said $3.99 for Miracle Whip yet the receipt says I paid $5.99. I think I overpaid about $7-$10 for these and a couple of other items. Should I have been an eagle eye and questioned it? Should I go back and stand in line at customer service to complain? Probably, but do you? Should we have to go over a receipt with a fine tooth comb? Thinking I will avoid this store for longer lists in the future. As a retired I can't afford these mistakes.

Entire customer service desk should be fired, or just shut down completely. Not being able to refund $3 bc a stocker labeled a price wrong, not knowing how to ring-up lotto tix, poor customer service, having 3 women all at different counters reading during their shift w 3 "Lane Closed" signs in front of each one, and generally not educated enough and zero service skills to be working w ppl. Zero stars. Thanks for nothing, except an extra trip to another King Soopers which had qualified ppl working. This place is horrendous.

Terrible customer service. Managers are contradictory. One of the managers did not know their own terms and services and stated, "well it's thousands of pages long, I do not know them all". Quick Google search displayed the terms and services clearly. They will quickly bounce around saying this is a freshfare not a King Scoopers when the argument doesn't favor them even though the receipt clearly shows King Scoopers.

I happened to be up and out early this day, I don't recall why, but as I was heading home I was going to pass this particular King Soopers location, and it's one I've wanted to check out. I'm not a super market aficionado but any means, but from reading other reviews and seeing the pictures this place seemed exceptional in their selection so I thought I'd ever I was nearby and had a few minutes... I was not disappointed. I wandered each aisle and was quite impressed with all that is carried. I am more used to leaving a grocery store not being able to find all I was looking for. This time I was finding things I hadn't known before I wanted (frozen zucchini latkes, for example, which I enjoyed in place of English muffin, as the foundation to an Eggs Benedict I prepared when I arrived home). This is not my neighborhood grocery store, but it fortunately is not too far a drive. I will definitely be back. Next time, probably later in the day, when the deli, meat department, and bakery are open and staffed. Check it out.

Nightmare. We tried to bought local peaches that was on sale but at the self checkout we need coupon from app for that. We ask worker Zinnia help us. She started aggressive right away when I told her that app not working ( I spoke with IT support previously). I even can't write the words here what she used. She lied that she is the manager, because later, manager stop by and didn't do nothing. When I give peaches back to them - she said if I saying 1 more word I will see what happens. King Soopers- REALLY??. Anyway Police was called.
