I've been a few times. The service is quick and friendly and the food is great, but I wish they were more generous with the toppings. They only give you half an egg with an order of Ramen, you can afford to give me the whole egg! The MaMa Ramen is good. The broth is made with Thai style spices and coconut milk. Read the reviews before placing our order for delivery, sadly food did not live up to the hype - tonkotsu broth was super salty and very oily, had to down 2 glasses of water after eating, noodles have nice chew though (Silverlake ramen is 10x better!!). Karrage chicken bowl was a joke, 70% rice and itty bitty chicken pieces and why so cheap with the sauce, it would have helped to consume the overloaded rice. Edamame was good and portion is great for the price, everything else was overpriced, just not worth it with the portion and quality of food we got. Very good service and, of course delicious food. They sat me down at a table where the parasol was not working and after I asked about the parasol, they told me it was broken. Before I could complain they offered me the very next table available with shade. It took about 10 minutes and there were other guests waiting too, but they followed through and sat me down at a shaded table ASAP then quickly brought my bowl of ramen soon after.

We decided to check out Kao Ramen by Mama while in Ventura to pick up bottle and can releases from some local breweries. The ramen is very good. I had the Kao #1 which is in pork bone broth. Very flavorful with a decent amount of pork chausu and noodles and plenty of vegetables. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area.

It's a small place, typical of a ramen spot, and there was a bit of a wait for seating; however, the service was great and the food was fantastic. You get a lot for your buck, and I mean A LOT. I couldn't even finish my bowl! Overall a fun, tasty place to eat.

Kao Ramen By Mama first time visiting thus place and all I can say is amazing. The food is just mouth-watering and packed with full flavor. I order the Kao No.1 Ramen on their menu which I attached a photo and just outstanding 👌. The service from the waiters is great always checking on you to see how things are and making sure you are happy. Definitely a place visiting if you love some good Japanese Ramen soup. I'm literally writing or typing this review as I'm eating but this place in ventura is by far holding the best Ramen. Dude! This place is goooooodddd! Stopped in with a friend for lunch the other day. I ordered the first ramen on the menu and it was so worth it. I went with a 3 for spicy and it was perfect. Could have been a little more spicy but it’s all good. The staff was super friendly. Great service!

This place has the best ramen I have ever tasted in my life. The chicken ramen I ordered was full of flavor and some spiciness. I ordered the 4 on spicy, but next time I'll get a 5 in spiciness. The noodles were perfectly made and melted in my mouth. The staff was friendly and the place itself looked nice. Definitely coming back here!
