Good down home American breakfast. Eggs were done as ordered. hash-browns crispy outside and moist inside, not greasy. Bacon and toast done just right. Server was friendly and efficient. This was my first experience and I was excited to try them as I heard so many great things. I will definitely be trying them again, however there were a lot of things that happened that left me disappointed. The food was slow to come out. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to come out and we had a hungry 2 year old. Which brings me to the food. We ordered the Mac and cheese for the 2 year old and was brought spaghetti noodles with alfredo sauce with a lot of cheese on top. We were told they were out of noodles but we're not told until they brought it out to us. If they would have told us right away we would have changed the order but we waited forever for our food we didn't say anything. She didn't touch it and thankfully we ordered fries and fruit so that held her over. I felt like we should have been comped for her meal but we didn't make a fuss. My friend and my daughter ordered the Cilantro Lime Chicken Wrap which both did not have cilantro lime ranch nor cream cheese as listed. They were both disappointed and ask for ranch since there was no sauce on their wraps and was dry. I ordered the Thai Chicken Wrap and the peanut sauce was peanut butter which oddly enough was kind of good but would have preferred the sauce instead of butter. My other daughter ordered the Italian Stallion and after about 30 minutes our server told us they were out of pepperoni so when the food came out we got all our food except for hers and we were almost done eating when her updated order finally came out. I have worked as a server so I know things can happen but there were a lot that happened and even a couple I didn't mention that made me compelled to leave a review so they get the feedback to make improvements. I must call out the food overall was great, just need to work out some things and I will for sure give them another try. Food left me flat. Steak had no seasoning on it, so the flavor wasn't great. It didn't come out until a little while after the rest of my food. My wife's caramel roll was super hard, and the caramel sauce tasted burnt. When we asked if it was normal to be that hard, the waitress said yes. We haven’t been at this restaurant for a while, but have to say, we probably won’t be back for awhile. Service was good but the omelet and hash browns were oily and and unbeatable. The hash browns were Squares that were dripping with oil. The omelet too had a puddle of oil on it and was hard brown crust on it! I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt that this one was necessary.

Went in this morning to have breakfast and a server in her early 40s, a taller, stout woman with glasses was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked if I could be seated by the window and she very condescendingly told me no and moved me to the darkest corner. Only two tables had guests and there was no reason why she had to be so rude about it. I then politely told her I'd go somewhere else and she rolled her eyes and smacked the menu on her table. I left and won't be returning. That was hurtful. Service: 1

We want to love it - food is good -but have given it a few tries at various times of the day and service has always been very slow. We've waited for our food for 30 min before. We've turned away at the host station because they were behind and food was taking an hour (but we were grateful they let us know). We've also waited to be acknowledged at the host station for 10 minutes before turning around after multiple workers looked at us and turned away, too busy to address us.

My quesadilla was absolutely flavorless, no spices or anything. Also the pineapple in my fruit bowl was canned, not fresh, and hey, it’s only a couple blocks to HyVee. One party ordered a caramel roll that was completely inedible. There was no sweetener in the caramel sauce but lots of cinnamon. Several tasted it at our table and couldn’t get the bad taste out of their mouth. We received no apology and no refund. We were a party of 11 and there were only about another 8 people in the whole place. Service was fair. We don’t eat out that often and we won’t be back. Service wasn't too bad, though she didn't ask if we wanted drink refills after repeated trips to take away our dishes. I'd say the food made up for it - Mac 'n Cheese & Mahi Fish Sandwich were delicious! My first visit & I instantly loved the place. The atmosphere & decor were casual yet elegant at the same time. You can rent the restaurant out for private parties I found out & it would be perfect for many occasions. Can't wait to bring the boyfriend next time!!

I got the Cajun Bacon Blue burger for carryout. Ordered the burger to be cooked medium and got a bowl of chili for my side. For $17 (including the +$2 for the bigger size of chili) this was terrible. No taste of cajun, you can see how much "homemade blue cheese dressing" was on it and the burger was well done. I've had better burgers from gas stations. Chili was ok but not great.
