We have enjoyed every meal we've had at Kabinett from long lost brunch, to patio dinners, to the monthly wine dinners, and most recently Sunday Supper! The Sunday Supper we enjoyed this past weekend was one of the top ten meals we have ever had...anywhere! And such a cozy concept, served family style, so we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy. Amazing wine list with stellar recommendations to pair with meals. We wish Kabinett was in our neighborhood because we'd be more frequent regulars. Go now!

Kabinett is a Michelin Star/James Beard in the making (I'm calling it here first). So let's talk about the atmosphere first; this restaurant is warm, inviting, and minimalistic but in the best way possible. Second to none is the service, the staff work together as a team and we never heard I'll get your server. Honestly I've been to a lot of places and the service here ranks in the top 5 maybe top 3 places I've ever been. Alright now the food, my wife and I were there for restaurant week. Honestly every plate was well balanced from bitterness to sweetness, acidity and umami. There was not one thing that I didn't like about the 6 dishes my wife and I tried. I can't wait until I have a chance to get back to Kabinett to try more of the menu.

Incredible. The chefs need to take a bow. Every plate has unique flavor and keeps your palate interested and wanting more. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, the only mistake you can make is not ordering dessert. The staff made excellent recommendations on wine selections and were very attentive.

We visited Kabinett for the second time recently for a couple glasses of wine and small plates to celebrate a late Valentine's day. Our first experience here last summer was wonderful where I had one of the most delicious dishes I can remember, the chicken pate. It came in a ramekin with toasted brioche and it was fantastic. We also had a lovely sardine appetizer that we were hoping was still on the menu when we returned.
We sat at the bar and when asking for the pate was told that it had been replaced by the chicken toast, which, lucky us, was debuting this very night. We ordered that, the sardine toast and the hollumi.
The chicken pate toast was perhaps the most visually unappealing food I have ever seen served at a restaurant. It was a piece of brioche topped with pate that was squeezed out in such a way that it literally looked like dogs droppings. While it tasted OK, the under toasted bread topped with the loose pate made for a soggy dish. The sardine toast was somewhat less appetizing with 4 little, mealy, sour fish each atop a piece of stale focaccia overloaded with oil. The hollumi was the best thing we ordered, but the tahini smeared on the plate tasted like fat on top of fat where some contrast would have helped.
The restaurant is quite pretty and the wine list is extensive with lots of wine by the glass. But service to get drinks was very slow and by no means informative about the wines. We sat at the bar and unless you happened to be able to catch the server's eye as they casually stood nearby, you were not getting any drinks. That being said, everyone working there seemed very pleasant.
We don't mind spending money on great food, any we usually do tip at least 20%, but the food wasn't great and the server while pleasant was not attentive and offered nothing extra for the wine experience. So the consumer now pays 20% on wine that is already marked up 300% over retail--it is mark-up, upon mark-up and there isn't any value added.

First time dining at Kabinett, and my fiancé and I are already planning our next visit back! Between the owner helping us choose the perfect champagne, and our waitress Naomi being extremely kind and attentive the entire time, and the intimate but modern ambiance inside- it was truly a wonderful dining experience. We had oysters, which my fiancé and I believe were the best we’ve ever had- and a delicious crab pasta and steak dish. To top it off, we had the most adorable adult “dirt” dessert that was 100% edible even though it looked too pretty to eat! We can’t wait to return to explore their fall menu, I like how it will change seasonally. Highly recommend, perfect for a date night ❤️

This is an incredible place to go enjoy food made by chefs who are always trying new things and blending flavors and cultures. If you are a wine enthusiast this is the best selection of bottles you’ll find in PA! There’s even private dining through a hidden wardrobe and Sunday Suppers are not to be missed!

Every detail is carefully curated with a focus on culinary excellence and ambiance. It is a tasting experience that is incomparable to any other in or around Easton. Each dish is creative, complimentary, and well planned. When I was at their most recent dinner, the exclamations of surprise and appreciation filled the restaurant as patrons remembered that tasting wine could be exciting again. Kabinett has amazing service with a dedicated and expert staff, avant-garde dishes, unanticipated yet perfect pairings, a chill vibe, and passionate owners. Beyond all of those amazing things, the owners pay their employees a living wage and treat them with respect. Kabinett is a triumph. If I were Paul Hollywood I would shake their chef's hand.

Finally a restaurant , outside a major city , that has focused on your experience! Upon entering the space, you’ll be excited to see the modern yet warm feeling of this space. They have done a phenomenal job with the selection of tableware, lighting and the layout. Right away you knew that these owners had taste and knowledge of inviting people into their “home” for something special.
The service was done by Jason- incredible. It is so nice to have a passionate and knowledgeable server and that was evident from the start. He made our experience wonderful from beginning to end. How refreshing is that? He helped us navigate through the wine list and paid attention to all of the details of fine service.
We ordered the caviar service and a cheese plate with a nice bottle of Clover Hill Tasmanian Brut Vintage 2018 and that was delicious! We then shared oysters, boquerones, fire roasted eggplant and potatoes . Dinners were Halibut, coulette steak, crab pasta and duck schnitzel. The plating and presentation was beautifully executed and my halibut was the best I ever had. Perfectly prepared and presented. Everyone was so happy with all of their choices. Two shared deserts, the dirt cup and peach and cream - devoured lol.
The owner comped our desserts which was unexpected and so sweet. He came to our table and he was delightful to speak with and it really rounded out our whole experience.
Honestly we walked out gleeful, thankful and it was a memory we will not forget!
From the decor, the music, the table scape, the service , the food and the owner - book your tables now ! You’ll see and I forgot to mention the impressive wine list! These owners and staff are one in a million and if you are close or within driving distance - what are you waiting for?
* He pays his staff an hourly rate of $20 plus tips, healthcare and holiday pay? That’s unheard of and even more reasons to support them! Warms my heart. Thanks to all for an incredible night!
