My husband and I went to this restaurant tonight to get to go plates. I had eaten half of the plate to discover a black hair in my baked spaghetti. I contacted the restaurant and spoke with Stephanie, the manager, who informed me I will need to bring the food and receipt back to the restaurant to have them correct their mistake or for a refund. I informed her we live 20 minutes away from the restaurant and we could come tomorrow. She told me to keep the food overnight and bring it the next day to receive a new plate or refund. I am highly disappointed in this place where we have ate plenty of times. This is a disgrace to the community and people since we work hard for our money to only receive this kind of service. I will not return to this restaurant anymore. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I love K&W Cafeteria. The food is always excellent. But some of the people there act like they hate their jobs. Not all of them but most of them. Not usually serving with a smile and not eager to answer your questions or even serving you. Keep your great recipes. Just be more selective with your hiring. Your pies are wonderful. Thanks for letting me share. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Lemon Meringue Pie
Line moves slow d/t checkout so food is cold by the time we reached a table. Cashier not very friendly esp when we showed her she overcharged us. She argued. It's best to have the check out at the desk when leaving as it was for years! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

All of the staff were delightful! They were very sweet and helpful. I didn't really understand how to order and they helped me with it without me needing to ask. The food was amazing, too! The French toast was great. My only issue at all was a mild sticky spot on the table, but that is to be expected of anywhere that sells breakfast. Can't recommend this place enough, I love coming here whenever I'm in Winston. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

K&W really came through for our family and friends on graduation day! Coming from out of town, we greatly appreciate the good hot tasty food K&W offers for large groups any time. As a business manager, I believe if you had offered a graduation special, there would have been no empty seats that day! Well done overall 👏🏽 👍🏼 👌🏾 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had not been to the K & W in quite a while. The fried shrimp was so tough I could barely cut it with a knife. Seven layer salad wilted and soggy. I put $3 tip on my card before I sat down. Big mistake! Server breezed by and never offered to refill tea or bring box for pie. No ice in machine. NEVER AGAIN!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1
This place has really gone all the way down hill. Food was all cold and barely any selection. Had I seen how gross the bathrooms were before I ate we wouldn’t have stayed. The people working there were still very friendly and attentive. The fish which I waited for 15 minutes to finish cooking was cold in the middle. It's been awhile since I last dined here. I used to really enjoy the food, but was disappointed this time. The chicken pan pie and macaroni and cheese had very little flavor. The stewed cabbage was thankfully as good as I remember. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
A childhood favorite down to bare bones. Sad to see that covid dealt them such a devastating blow. Would love to see an investor work with a WFU Masters Business program to develop ideas to turn things around, and partner with Novant and Atrium health testing and creating healthy options - Mediterranean diet to help address the weight issues in the communities they serve. Cheering them on. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Lemon Meringue Pie
My boyfriend and I have come here habitually for the past 2ish years since we've moved to the area. Absolutely *fantastic* staff, great food, and good atmosphere. If you can, grab a slice of the blueberry pie, it's really good :) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Lemon Meringue Pie
