This is a great place for sushi in Gdańsk. We tried the tuna tataki and a sushi platter for two persons. Both were really delicious. The sake and plum wine they served were of good quality too.

I got sushi and miso soup for take away. The fish was so fresh! The rice and fish proportion was perfect. I love the soup too. They put so much salmon and seaweed in the soup. This place is so under the radar but the food will surprise you. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person zł 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sashimi

We waited for more than half an hour for 18pcs of sushi and 5pcs of sashimi and there was only one other couple in the restaurant when we ordered. When the plates came, they were over-decorated; my partners sushi had chutney over and the plate was full of exotic fruit. The sashimi was also served with exotic fruit and strawberries. The sushi it self was dry and bland. The sashimi was lukewarm. All in all a really disappointing experience Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person zł 100–120 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
Nice place with Japanese food by the river in Gdansk. I tried nigiri sushi and shoyu ramen here. The sushi 🍣 wasmagiro and hamachi, it tasted great. Fish was fresh, the rice had appropriate amount of vinegar as well as perfect temperature, so this was definitely the highlight of the visit. The price for sushi was quite high though, almost as in Norway. But considering the quality, I would say it is worth it. 5 stars for the sushi. The ramen, however, had noodles 🍜 that reminded me of overcooked spaghetti. In ramen, no matter how good the soup is, if the noodles are of bad quality, you will end up disappointed. The soup was okay though. So noodles 3 stars. I would recommend that Izakaya get better noodles, that would raise the quality of the ramen quite a bit. They had some bottled Japanese beers and that was nice.
Absolutely incredible sushi. We went for lunch and had a wonderful time. It takes a bit of time for the food to be prepared, (and of course you need to have money to burn) but it is more than worth the wait. Each dish was distinct in its flavour. I loved the beef sushi, the 'Polish kind' with cranberries, and the tuna tarter was amazing. As a matcha lover I had to have the matcha ice cream as dessert. The combination of matcha and mango was great, though for purists I think there was a bit much mango and the matcha ice cream could be churned just a little bit better to get even smaller crystals (but this is nitpicking). I tried a piece of the tamago-eel dessert as well and it was just really tasty. The tea was very nice too. Beautiful green tea with lychee and rose if I remember correctly. Free refill on the hot water, which is great as you can quickly go through the small pot. An izakaya in Japan is a place to share food and drinks together - often evening bars. If you have the chance and like to spend on good food, don't forget to visit this Izakaya - even if it is just for lunch ;).
