It is such a pity that in a beautiful setting, both the food and service are quite bad. Service team was not bothered to attend to guests, chatting away instead of providing menu, serving food( 20 mins to receive menus alone). The food and icecream here is so nice and tasty. I ordered Lassagne Bolognese and my friend ordered Gnocchi funghi and it was not enough for him. We were too hungry and finish the food before any pic is taken 😁 But here is the spaghetti icecream

Food was beyond expectations and so was the service. The only tip I would say, is they should have one entrance and exit. We were siting in the middle part of the restaurant and we had guest coming from both the front an back of restaurant waiting to be seated and they all ended up waiting around our table. Which made us rather nervous (Corona) other then that is a beautiful restaurant for a reasonable price

Intenzo had been recommended to me by a couple of colleagues who had eaten there when in Hengelo. What a truly disappointing experience this was. We chose the 4 course menu but were explicit that our daughter was allergic to nuts and I to fennel. After waiting 40 minutes for the amuse, we were served the first course, a seared tuna on the grill, which was over seared, the tuna was tough and dry, and garrnished with 2 huge pieces of fennel which transferred to the tuna. Not only was the dish unappealing looking and tasting, but something in the parmesan cream sauce of the oil gave my daughter an allergic reaction. The kitchen said there were no nuts but her lip swelled and we had to give her antihistimine on the spot. The servers were very apologetic, and kind about the mistake with the fennel. The rest of the meal was pretty below par. The ravioli was of lesser quality than what you buy at Albert Heijn and was served with a cream sauce that had separated and was just bland and flavorless. The main course was a very very strange combination of flavors, pickled duck breast in a sauce of truffles with tomatoes, zucchini, grilled corn, pickled baby coorn andd sweet potato. Too many combinations that just didn't compliment each other at all. Dessert was okay, the small scoop of strawberry ice cream was the very best thing we ate the whole evening. The server did offer us coffee on the house, but after such a disappointing meal we just wanted out of there as soon as possible. I don't mind paying for great food, but I really despise paying for bad food. And this was exactly what this was. Amateurish trying to pose as nouvelle cuisine.

Great food and great ambiance. Wine arrangement was exceptional. Super range of beautiful wines from Italy. Service was good but sometimes we felt forgotten. That is a point that could be improved.
