Hidden gem in Hoorn. This restaurant is located in the former railway station of Hoorn Kersenboogerd. They have created stairs on the side of the building facing Betje Wolfplein to enter this Italian restaurant. The interior is very cosy. Nice use of colours, comfortable seats and wooden tables. Because of the warm curtains it didn’t feel like we were on a railway station. The music was a mix of modern soul and pop music. The food was amazing! We came for just a quick normal pizza but these pizzas were just so delicious. I had a pizza capitana which had just the most delicious ham and cheese. During the evening the most attractive food passed our table. We definitely need to come back to try the pastas and meat dishes. The service here is very personal and informal. The waiter is very generous with tasting and making fun. All In all a great and surprising experience. Mille grazie!!

If you are missing Italy, this is were you have to go. The food is real italian food and high quality. The owner is super nice and the staff are very friendly. I enjoyed every moment of it. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our first time at Incontro was a very pleasant experience. We decided to go for the tasting menu. What we didn't realize was that it doesn't really have a fixed number of courses and that the dishes keep coming until you say stop. Started with 4 exquisite pasta dishes that were among the best we have had in Hoorn. The last dish was a pizza with prociutto and goat cheese. Absolutely wonderful. Also the crust was very tasty. We could have tried more pizzas but at this point we were at the limit and had to opt for the last course, tiramisu. We finished of the dinner with a limoncello on the house. The service throughout was excellent. The chef also stopped by to ask how we enjoyed our first dining experience at Incontro, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is small and filled up throughout the evening. We spent over 2 hours eating, talking and enjoying. Definitely a five star experience and we will definitely be back. Our waitress shared with us that Incontro hosta a wine tasting, guided through a Sommelier on the last Friday of the month and pairs each wine with one of its dishes. Count us in!!! Amazing Italian restaurant hidden in plain sight! Excellent food and an amazing owner provided me with an outstanding experience. Best Italian in the region. Left the food choices up to the chef/owner and was not disappointed! Really amazing, I recommend this place to anybody🤩

Fantastisch!!! We hadden een highwine met vijf gangen. We hebben erg genoten van de heerlijke traditionele gerechten en mooie wijnen. De sommelier presenteert de wijnen op een leuke en vlotte manier. Aan het einde van de avond is het ook mogelijk wijnen te bestellen. De sfeer was top! Er werd live opgetreden door een jongen en een meisje. Beide een mooie stem. Heel leuk om tussen de gangen door naar te luisteren. Einde van de avond kon je verzoeknummers opgeven. Bediening is heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het is een klein, maar sfeervol ingericht restaurantje.
