If you're fine with having little vegetable in vegetarian dishes, you may be well satisfied. Pizza was enjoyable and service was sincere and satisfying. The fact that seating is extremely uncomfortable is a major drawback. Combined with not so amazing food, it doesn't make it to the "you should be there" list.

A small trattoria with lots of love from the owner. Paulo created everything from scratch (we had the artichoke freshly prepared in front of our eyes) and delicious anchovies for starters. He is actually the chef and the maitre 'd at the same time. In the middle of preparing the food, he would drop by to check whether everything is ok or not. Love it! The downside: it could take some time to get your food. We were the first in the restaurant (with a 2 yo hangry girl), so we got ours pretty quick. There are mix reviews on the price. For us, it was not cheap either (especially the starters as the size is quite small), but it's worth it - because he prepared himself from scratch. You still need to pay cash, so make sure you bring enough cash. Also no kids seat (for toddlers).

Best Italian restaurant in the area. Real Italian dishes, extremely fresh food. Paolo will even make you the best pizza ever if you ask politely but that's not what Il Porto is about. Highly recommended for many years in a row.
