We started coming to Home Slice Pizza back in 2017 and make a point to stop here every time we are in Durango. Garlic chicken pizza is soooo garlicky, good, and a little rich. Wash it down with a local brew on tap. Dogs on the leash on the patio are allowed. See you soon! Stopped in here for dinner with a large group. Counter service ordering with a quick moving line. The place is fairly small inside (the bar takes up almost half of the inside space) but we were still able to find seating. The pizza was very good. They have a few premade pizzas at the counter they sell by the slice, or you can order a whole pie. Nice NY style crust with a crispy bottom. I had the margarita pizza which was great. One of our group had a pepperoni calzone which was also good. I didn’t get a chance to check out the bar but it looked lively! The vibe is super fun here. Not a ton of seating, just so you know. Got here somewhere around 7 PM, and were hoping to miss the dinner rush. Unfortunately, most of the pizza slices that were ready to be reheated looked a little worse for the wear. Nevertheless, my buddy and I opted for a couple slices and grabbed a booth that opened up while we were paying. The flavor wasn’t bad, but you could tell that the pizza had been there for a while and then they had just been reheated. If I was to ever come here again, I’d probably order something that had to be made fresh. Food was great and so was my experiance sitting at the bar.. Our server (shaina) was her name went above and beyond to keep us hydrated even though she was very busy but still made eye contact while keeping great conversation which made the experiance awesome .. The staff here are great! As soon as one of them heard I had a dog she immediately asked me if my dog could have human food and when I said yes she gave me a to-go cup full of bacon bits and ham and cheese slices for her. They were more than accommodating for us outside and even provided a fire for us to warm up by. The pizza is good. Toppings are NOT skimpy at all. Decent drinks for decent prices too. I have only stopped in here for slices to go. But the couple experiences I have had were good. Pizza by the slice. Plenty of seating. A bar area to sit around if you so desire. Cheese slices were $3.75 and slices with topping ranged from $4.25-$4.75 each. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Rolled into town on a Sunday night after 8 p.m. and well let's just say the dining choices are....limited. We were surprised to see Home Slice open until 10 p.m. When we entered we were surprised to see such a wide variety of pizzas....something for every taste. We ordered the half and half with Chicken Bacon Ranch and BST (Bacon, Spinach, Tomato)....both halves were delish!!! They brought it out to our table and placed it on one of those cute little pizza stand/holder things. They had some pre-made more basic pizzas for slices in the case at the counter which was perfect for that cheese slice for my 2 year old Nephew, they heated it for us. And they even had high chairs and booster seats!!! ONLY negative was no changing station in either bathroom. Team members are all super friendly. There is a bar there that takes up about half the restaurant. There was a very pretty fire pit outside. Multiple TV's going with mainly sports playing. Nice little place that emulates the feeling of a miniature ski shack. One thing to note is this is a food truck that has had a enclosed eating area built around it. The space is small and can fill up quickly on a busy night. Overall the pizza is very good and they have plenty of options to choose from. The staff is super friendly and do their best to make sure you have a good experience.
