This place is absolutely amazing! Wanted to try for a while based on the positive reviews, and it did not disappoint. The hush puppies were the best I've ever eaten. We had the special cajun brisket, which I hope makes its way back - so good! Gumbo and boiled peanuts were great, too! Service was some of the friendliest and helpful I've ever gotten. Prices were very fair and look forward to getting back out there - especially with the cooler weather, with it being outdoor seating. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This was my first time here. I always drive by on Sunday and they are usually closed on Sundays, but as of last weekend, they will be open on Sunday! Great Cajun place with outdoor seating and live music sometimes. Great food and value! I will be a regular here. I was blown away by the kindness at Happy's Bayou Bites. Arrived there drenched, after a long bike ride and they immediately offered me a towel. The staff not only helped me pick out my meal but also took the time to chat with me. Mark, one of the owners, even sat down for a bit while I ate. Before leaving, he offered me a choice of snacks from a bin – went for a granola bar. Never have I experienced such genuine warmth and respect at a restaurant. Their hospitality goes above and beyond. If you get a chance, definitely visit them. I'm sure you'll leave with a big smile, just like I did. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Looking for a place to have lunch.. And found this little cute place full of good vibes!! Since you enter the parking lot, you already feel good, and it smells good!! Then, the amicable service, the description of the menu, the food itself...., is really awesome. Even though it is in front of a busy avenue, once you are there, it's a cozy peaceful place where the food, the drinks and the service makes you feel you are in another place. It is really awesome!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp Poboy

This is basically a permanently located food truck. There are several picnic tables to sit at but whether it will be enjoyable really depends on the weather. Because it is a trailer with a facade around it, the menu is limited. The food is pretty good though. 5 stars for the taste of the food. 2 stars for the atmosphere (Florida is hot).
Amazing ambiance and equally amazing food and service! Everything was cooked to perfection! Hush puppies were crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, catfish was golden brown and crispy and moist and juicy on the inside! Shrimp was season to perfection as well! Great spot and a must visit if you’re a local and/or visiting! Another solid spot we will continue to frequent!!
Presentation- Good Location-Great Music-Different Taste- Hush Puppies-Delicious but looks like the grease needed some changing. Gumbo is a soup-Should NOT be called gumbo ☹️ Red Beans and Rice- No seasoning just beans, rice and heat- NO FLAVOR at all… Fried Catfish- DELICIOUS Grits- Dry Sauce that goes on top of grits- needs more seasoning! Service was great—atmosphere was great but the food (not the catfish) needed seasoning- this place missed the mark for me. I know authentic Cajun good and unfortunately this was not it. If you come here- stick to the Fried Catfish and Hush Puppies and you will enjoy your day- anything else not so much. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
Amazing Creole flavors that are genuine. Po Boys are huge and filling and coming with one side its well worth it. Vegetarian options like red beans and rice which was very flavorful. Best hushpuppies I've ever had. Fried catfish was amazing to. Reminded me of when my mother would make it with cornmeal breading. Well worth eating here and trying the flavors.
