After a HORRIBLE experience at YeeHaw brewing we found Great Oak/Southern Craft. What a life saver! The staff was friendly and charming, all the ladies seemed to work hard and FAST. We got our food so quick, which was great after a cruddy experience. I wish I could remember our waitresses name but she had long light brunette hair in a ponytail and she couldn’t have been for efficient. Our water never ran out, the beers were great and the food EVEN BETTER! I think the manager stopped by too, and she was just as kind and helpful(: The portions were large, hot and tasty! Sauces weren’t half bad! Definitely suggest the wings (our waitress suggested the fire apple and she was right on the money) and my husband loved his half chicken. We were full all the way back to West Virginia lol
Highly suggest giving Great Oak Brewing/Southern Craft your business in the area!
Located inside a BBQ joint, you could say this is a BBQ restaurant with a brewery problem...
That's all good, tasty beer followed up with some great BBQ is always a welcomed combo...
Amazing atmosphere, amazing service, and the best pulled pork I have had. The food is excellently priced. Make sure to try the pulled pork with tater tots and try all of the in-house sauces. The beers from their brewing company are okay. They have a great selection of bourbons to try at a reasonable price.
Best BBQ and Craft Beer anywhere! Southern Craft Resturant is in an old warehouse setting with Great Oak Brewing adjacent. Beautiful Craft beer with some seasonal selections. A must try. A great setting for BBQ and Craft Beer!
Stopped in for a drink and a snack. Double IPA and black lager were really good, and the kitchen fries were phenomenal. Can't wait to get back for dinner.
Had a pint of Frankland Amber which was pretty good and ate the Fire Water Burger which was delicious. Left stuffed and satisfied. Definitely a good place to stop by while checking out some of the local shops.
