Service was insanely quick despite being a full house and quite a small space. The entire staff seems to operate as a cohesive team. The cooks/kitchen are fully visible. My daughter got chocolate chip pancakes that had no business being so good and I tried a variety of things. (Bologna for breakfast? Sure! Grits? Sounds like a requirement! Chunks?! Let's do it I guess- it turns out they're just breakfast potatoes 😆) Everything was good and our entire bill was $14. My plate at a chain diner would have been $14 alone. Heading outta town for Ohio. Stopped here on a whim and what a fabulous choice!! Breakfast was amazing, so much so why would one want to go to a cracker barrel? I got the pawpaw breakfast everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. The server was on top of things with a great big smile on her face. This little diner was recommended to me as I was passing through; the staff were friendly, but unfortunately the food was not good. I had a hamburger with fries. The meat ( hamburger ) was awful and I did not eat it. The fries were good, just deep fried frozen potatoes. While at a FEMA training, I stumbled upon this amazing little hole in the wall. It was super good! I had their special of (yes) beef liver & onions. Nice no frills spot with low priced food. Small interior so get their early to snag a seat. Food was good but the sweet tea was the star of my meal. I absolutely love a good sweet tea and theirs was perfection. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

My son and his girlfriend invited me to have breakfast here and it was amazing! The food was cooked to perfection, the service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was back in the country at grandma's house! I hadn't ever been to this place before, and really didn't know what to expect when we arrived. But, judging by the number of cars in the parking lot (including several police cars), I wanted to give it a try. This is the best breakfast that I've had in a long time. I ordered country ham, fried eggs, gravy and toast. Everything was cooked perfectly. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great. The only negative was the restrooms.
