So let me first start off by apologizing to those who enjoy a good picture of the food along with the review because I couldn't hold back and by the time I remembered, my platter was NO MORE! I got the oxtail, Mac and cabbage. The oxtails were tender and seasoned perfectly. They came on a bed of rice and peas which were equally delicious. The cabbage was soft and had a very slight sweetness to it. I was greeted with a smile. Can't wait to go back! The plates are eqUally nice . I had the oxtail and I must admit you are not going to find any other oxtails In Winston Salem this good !! Was mad I didn’t get extra . The Drinks were Great taste like a good day when you were a kid 😇 I have to go back and try the rest of the menu but am sold on the Oxtails so meaty and juicy !!!! The food was excellent, portion size and price were really good. Ms Galloway (owner) was wonderful to work with! Having Goodness Gracious cater the majority of our Christmas dinner this year took away any stress. I’m looking forward to working with Goodness Gracious again. I highly recommend!!! I got Turkey wings, Mac & cheese, collards, and rice & gravy….Mac and cheese was a little dry…. Greens taste a lil sweet and like vinegar was in them, they taste like they were out of the can…rice wasn’t cooked long enough….Turkey wings flavor and the flavor of the dark brown gravy that was on them was not good….I was disappointed…. I’ve heard great things about this place …. I don’t know what type of food or taste that some people are used to…. But this was not it… not being ugly… just factual…. We ( me and my sisters)are awesome cooks and it’s hard to beat the flavor of our food…. I think that’s what I was expecting …. I wasted $20 on a plate and extra side 🥲 EDIT:: when we cook again I sure will to show you what good food should taste like…. Ordered the fish and shrimp platter, mac and cheese hubby ordered the turkey wings with collard greens and yams!! LORT HAVE MERCY!! food was amazingggg. Goodness gracious that food was sooo good. We got the fried shrimp, fried wings, cabbage, yams, greens, Mac and cheese, green beans, and potato salad.. everything tasted wonderful, the customer service was outstanding. Locally owned restaurant with fantastic owners, friendly staff, and amazing food. Just like mama made. The whiting, oxtails, meatloaf, and wings are all off the hook. The cabbage and green beans are also amazing. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

If your looking for some good soul food you have found your place!!! It reminds me of grandma and mamas cookin the oxtails are really delicious also the macaroni and cheese is good and cheesy with a nice flavor nothing here is bland you can’t go wrong the meatballs are soft the fish is fried crispy also the shrimp are big and plentiful it’s a great place to go if you really want that good down home cooking but don’t feel like cooking is a good place to go 10 out of 10 Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
