Food was cooked the way I like it and the pan fried dumplings were crispy and delicious , shrimp and lobster sauce extra garlic and it was flavorful and perfect Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Very disappointed. Ordered a combo dinner and paid extra for beef fried rice. The rice literally had two slices of beef in it…also no onion, veggies, egg, or bean sprouts. Just plain dry rice. Egg roll was not cooked inside so you couldn’t eat it. I ordered from Uber at work so I really couldn’t take the time to reorder. Paid $20 for nothing.

Stopped by for a quick bite and decided on the combo meal of General Tsos Chicken and Pork Fried rice. Why does this restaurant have such high reviews?! The rice was mushy and seemed like it was scraped straight from the bottom of the pot and don't get me started on the chicken...it almost felt like I was eating super market Tyson chicken nuggets drowned in old gen tso sauce. What a terrible meal, and overpriced for what you get. Do NOT recommend.

Our doctors office order here all the time. But unfortunately the food has went downhill tremendously! The chicken was NOT edible. Made all of us sick. It was drenched in sauce!! Disgusting

Couldn't tell if the chicken in my sweet and sour chicken was leftover from a KFC meal. They were quick for sure, but I was not impressed with the food or taste. I'm no Chinese food connoisseur, but let's just say I didn't even want the leftovers. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10

I've tried my go to garlic broccoli and rice at many places and good star is by far my favorite hands down! Very tasty, not greasy and just the perfect amount of spiciness.

Mediocre would be a charitable phrase to describe the food served here. While the dumbing down of Chinese food has been going on for decades, within mile or two you'll find some other chinese takeouts that are both better and also cheaper. This place changed hands a few years back and they promptly added a dollar or two to every dish on the menu and actually managed to prepare the food even worse than the prior owners. So now, in September, 2020 I tried it again. Well the prices are even higher and the food perhaps worse. LOOK ELSEWHERE

Excellent Chinese food, and impressively speedy. I give it 5... wait for it... yes, you guessed it, GOLD STARS. I enjoy the General Tso and egg fried rice. It is uniquely exquisite. It's not too greasy or saucy, very enjoyable, no matter how frequently I get it.

EAT THIS FOOD!!!!!!!! Best Chinese food in town! Great attitude as well as hustle from the employees. I have been to most of the other Chinese restaurants in town and have found that GoldStar is the best. The food always tastes good and they do a good job of communicating your order to make sure you get what you want the way you want it and if there is a miscommunication on the order they do their best to compensate you so that you will be happy enough to come back.

AWESOME Food !!! First time here and our dinner was so good! We ordered the Crab Ragoon - so crunchy and delish,,,,Chicken w/mushrooms,,very tasty with tons of large mushrooms...and General Tso;s Shrimp...huge shrimps and also super tasty. We are excited about Finding our New Favorite Chinese Take Out Restaurant !!! Ps. No left-overs...we ate it ALL !!!!!
